Let Fido free of his leash at the Bishop Dog Park. This pawsome park gives your dog the perfect opportunity to socialize and run around without the worry of a leash. With great amenities like water, grass to run on, shade, and benches for owners, your dog will have a great time in this park. With separate areas for large and small dogs, your pup can play with friends his own size. Toys usually get left behind by other dogs, so your dog may have a tennis ball to chase. Make sure to bring clean-up bags with you to this pawsome park. Grab a bite to eat together at the Holy Smoke Texas Style BBQ after a good day out at the park. The succulent BBQ will be sure to have your dog drooling.

Pinion Rd / Mesquite Rd

If you feel like relaxing with a cold one, check out the Mountain Rambler Brewery. This brewery and restaurant serves world class craft beer with delicious food in a comfortable atmosphere. Their bistro style menu offers salads, tacos, and flatbread that will pair perfect with the variety of different beers they have on draft. If you are craving something sweet,  head into Good Earth Yogurt which offers organic Greek yogurt dishes, plus pie, wine, and beer that will pair perfectly with whatever yogurt you decide on. Both of these great eateries have dog friendly patios where you and your pup can dine.

Rocking K

Take your pup out to the Millpond Recreation Area for a fun day out in the sun. The park offers softball fields, tennis courts, a horseshoe pit, and a playground. If you want to have a picnic, this park provides a shaded gazebo with tables and BBQs that you and Fido can use. There is a pond that people are allowed to swim in, but make sure to keep Fido out of it when you visit. Your dog will love getting a walk in around this park with you, just don't forget your water or clean-up bags.

Brockmans Corner / Laws

Grab a bite to eat with your pup at the Upper Crust Pizza Co. They dish out numerous different types of pizza that your dog will be drooling to get a taste of. Locals do warn that their outdoor patio doesn't offer any shade, so don't go if the weather is too warm. If you're looking for more than just pizza, head over to the Pizza Factory which serves pizza, pasta, meatball sandwiches, and calzones. Erick Schar's Bakery offers baked goods that you can enjoy with your pup. They offer pound cake, rolls, cookies and more. All of these delicious restaurants offer dog friendly patios where you and your pup can dine together.

Wilkerson

If you and Fido want to do some exploring, head to the Inyo National Forest together. This 2-million-acre forest is perfect to explore, as long as your pup stays on a leash. The park has a diverse wildlife, and offers lakes to splash around in and forests to hike in. Nestled in the Eastern Sierra, your dog will love exploring this forest with you. The park offers hiking, fishing, picnicking, and in the winter, snow to run around in. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you when you explore, and don't forget to clean-up after your pup.
