“Just keep wagging, wagging, wagging...”

Howdy, my name is Nadine! Every dog I have owned -- from yorkies to labradors -- for the past 25 years has been a rescue. I have taken obedience classes to be a better pet parent. . .oh, and to train my dogs to be better pets, too. Loving on my dogs and being active are passions for me, so dog walking is a perfect fit! They are family to me and deserve lots of love and attention. Walking my dogs promotes health and is fun for all of us! I am all too happy to provide the same care and attention to your canine family member through Wag!. I look forward to meeting you and your fur-baby!

Hello my name is Hannah! Growing up, my father trained and bred Rottweilers, so I've loved dogs and taking care of them ever since I was a little kid. Now my mom, sister and I own two adorable small dogs, a Miniature Pinscher and a Chihuahua. I currently attend Fresno State where I major in Theatre Arts, so because of different rehearsal dates and times it's very convenient for me to be able to make my own schedule, doing something that I truly love.

Dog Walking in Fresno

Fresno’s parks are managed by the Parks, After School, Recreation, and Community Services (PARCS) department and include several dog parks in their numbers. PARCS dog parks are free to use and offer plenty of room for the city’s canine residents to run.

For a wider selection of dog-oriented activities, visit the Dr. James W. Thornton Dog Park at the Valley Animal Center. This park requires a membership, but it has a greater variety of amenities, including an agility course, a pool with water jets, and drinking stations. There are also lockers available, so human companions can put their personal belongings out of harm’s reach.

Woodward Park, a regional park in the northeast part of the city, serves as a bird sanctuary and a picnic site for bird enthusiasts. Several trails pass through the park, providing a good source of exercise for visitors and their dogs. You'll find Woodward busy with local pet owners on the weekends who are out for a jog, bike ride, or trail run.

If you are just passing through, you and your pup can spend the night in comfort at a pet-friendly hotel. La Quinta Inn & Suites allows pets in most of their locations, as does Ramada Northwest Fresno. Wind down your day, and enjoy the view that the city has to offer after dusk.

This community is a popular neighborhood for dogs and their owners. A great attraction to check out for Fido is the seasonal Basin AH1 Dog Park and Pond. This doggie park is open from May through November. The best part of the park is the pup-friendly wading pool, which is pawfect for those dog days of California summer. Afterward, you can let your canine companion shake the water out of his fur before heading home. Try not to give in to the classic puppy dog eyes he’s sure to give you when it's time to go.
