The trail goes alongside the Cold Creek and up to the Backbone Trail so that you can reach Saddle Peak. You will find the views are breathtaking. You can see a panoramic view of the area for miles. Because there is wildlife in the area, it is recommended that you keep your dog on his leash while you walk. You will also need to bring your own water because there is no running water here.
