Chatsworth, California was once on the trade route, which makes it rich in the history of several different countries. Now, it's a suburb of Los Angeles. You are going to see lots of Native American sites as well as Spanish, European, and even Mexican heritage here. The landscape that surrounds Chatsworth holds many artifacts that have been preserved throughout the generations. There are caves that hold Native American drawings that have been preserved through time. You can take the Old Santa Susana Stage Road through the Simi Hills to see some of them. Just remember to stay on the paths.

If you want something more modern to do, you should check out Chatsworth Park North. They have several paved paths that you and your pup can walk. Your children may like to come and play on the playground. If you're looking for more of a challenge, this park also has hiking trails that lead up the side of the mountain.

There are seven vet offices in Chatsworth. If you would like to know what their regulations are for taking your pet on the trail, or just get some tips, they are happy to help. Give them a quick call and they will let you know what to watch for while you are exploring with your puppy.
