El Escorpion Park is attached to the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve, where they also allow leashed dogs to take in the views, get some cardio and absorb some Vitamin D. The Calabasas Cold Creek Trail allows on leash dogs to enjoy the 4.5-mile, 750 feet incline hiking trail (round-trip) that offers scenic views and is an excellent place to walk your pooch and get some cardio in the area! San Vicente Mountain from Mulholland Drive is a 2-mile hike that ascends 330 feet up; on-leash dogs are allowed to accompany human companions on the trail.
