Roladin Bakery and Café has an extensive menu that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and specialize in Mediterranean cuisine, desserts and coffee. Both dogtastic restaurants welcome your pup to join you for a nice meal out, and they will even bring a bowl of water out for your dog while you chow down.

Tarzana Hills

Less than ten minutes out of Winnetka is the Tarzana neighborhood, and home of the Caballero Canyon Trail. This 3.4-mile hike has an elevation gain of 625 feet and lets you climb and explore the Caballero Canyon on the north side of the Santa Monica Mountains. This hike is perfect for beginners since the ground isn’t too rocky and the elevation gain isn’t too high. Make sure you are aware of your surroundings while you hike since the Caballero Canyon is home to snakes, hawks, and coyotes. Bring plenty of water for you and Fido, and don’t forget the clean-up bags.

Encino Hills

Five miles from Winnetka is the Encino neighborhood, which is filled with some great hikes you can take with your dog. The Westridge-Canyonback Wilderness Park offers great trails to take Fido on. You have the option of taking a paved walking path, or you can hike up a rocky ridge. The hike will give you a beautiful view of downtown and the ocean. The Mandeville Canyon to San Vicente Mountain Loop is a five-mile loop that takes you through the upper areas of the Mandeville Canyon and into the San Vincent Mountain Park. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you as there is none available along the way.

Warner Center

Warner Center is next door to Winnetka and home to numerous dog-friendly restaurants that you and your furry companion can visit for a bite to eat. Check out eateries like Gaucho Grill, PizzaRev, or Senior Grandes which all have beautiful outdoor patios that your dog will love. If those three aren’t up your ally, there are plenty more to choose from, like Eureka, Veggie Grill, or Lucille’s Smokehouse BQQ which all love when your dog joins you for a nice meal out.
