Central Panorama City
The neighborhood of Central Panorama City has some wonderful dog-friendly parks for you and Fido to explore. Leash up your pup and head to Panorama Park to enjoy some green space and to walk the path around the fields. You can also take your pooch to Branford Park for some exercise and fresh air. Grab a snack for you and your furry friend from one of the vendors in the area. If you’ve been looking for someone to help you train your dog, check out Mongrels ‘n’ Mutts. With a customized plan from a trainer who graduated from Animal Behavior College, you’ll learn how to use positive reinforcement to establish a healthy leadership role with your pup.36

Arleta
Just north of Panorama City, the neighborhood of Arleta has a few lovely parks where you can bring Fido. Head over to Devonwood Park and walk the paved trails in this recreational area. Bring along a lunch and sit at a picnic table by the open field. You can also head over to Devonshire Arleta Park to enjoy a little green space. This is a wonderful place to come with your pup and kids. You and Fido can take a walk along the brick paths or through the field next to the playground while your children get some exercise. Dogs are welcome in these city parks provided they are on a leash and you clean up after them.24

Sun Valley
You and Fido can find some pupful opportunities for fun and fresh air in the community of Sun Valley, located directly east of Panorama City. Pack a lunch, grab your leash, and head to La Tuna Canyon Park with your four-footed friend. Climb the ridge to catch breathtaking views of the San Gabriel Mountains and the San Fernando Valley. Lake Balboa
Take a short drive to the neighborhood of Lake Balboa to treat your canine pal to some play time with other pups. This neighborhood is just over 5 miles from Panorama City, and it features a pupcredible recreational area that includes an off-leash dog park. The Lake Balboa/Anthony C. Beilenson Park includes a 1.3-mile path that you and Fido can walk or jog along. In the northwest corner of the facility, you’ll find the Sepulveda Basin Off-Leash Dog Park. There are three separate fenced enclosures to allow different size dogs can romp and play safely with other pooches. After getting some exercise, grab a bite to eat at Lake House near the park. This restaurant welcomes dogs at their outdoor tables.
