The hike will take you to the top of the Cahuenga Peak, and if you want to go further, it connects to the Aileen Getty Ridge Trail for a longer trek. Make sure to bring water with you while hiking since the trail is not shaded, and your dog may get hot. Located three miles out of Toluca Lake in Los Angeles, your pup will love walking this hike with you.

Hollywood Hills

After a fun day out adventuring, Fido might get a little hungry. The Hollywood Hills has three great dog friendly places that you and your pup can dine at together. GC Marketpalce has a variety of delicious food on their menu, including buffalo chicken wings, quiche, and lobster bisque. This eatery is great to stop into after a good hike or walk, especially since their meals are large and tasty. Veggie House is a causal vegan and vegetarian friendly joint. They dish out traditional Thai cuisine from a large menu. If you're just looking for a caffeine fix, stop into Starbucks and grab yourself a coffee, and your pup a puppiccino, before heading out on your next advenure. All of these great eateries have dog friendly patios, and are located only three miles out of Toluca Lake in Los Angeles.

Studio City-Fryman

Take your pup out to Wilacre Park for a fun day out under the sun. This park has a few trails that the two of you can hike and get a good walk in together. The trails are lined with trees to help provide shade for you and your dog while you enjoy your day out. If you're looking for a bit of a lengthier hike, check out to the Fryman Canyon Loop. This three mile hike along the Betty B. Dearing Trail, and through Wilacre Park and Coldwater Canyon Park, is perfect to travel on with your pup. Your leashed dog is welcomed to join you on this pawsome hike located in Studio City, and only five miles out of Toluca Lake.

North Hollywood

If Fido is craving some off leash time, take him out to the Whitnall Off-Leash Dog Park in North Hollywood. This three acre dog park is perfect for your dog to socialize and be able to roam free without a leash. The park has separated areas for small and large dogs, so everyone can have fun with pups their own size. The park also has water fountains, restrooms, chairs to sit on, and grass that your pup can run along. Make sure to bring clean-up bags with you to this great dog park. Only three miles out of Toluca Lake, your dog will have a great time here.
