My name is Tammy and my first dog experience was at 10 when I was able to spend time at a neighbor's who had a German Shepherd named Lucy. We spent hours in the yard playing. Within a few years my family got 2 dogs of our own, Swampy and Butch, which I took care of starting when I was age 12. I got my own dogs once I left my parents home. 2 Akitas that both lived until age 15. At this point in my life I would like to give back the love dogs give and help others with their dogs. I have experience raising dogs from puppyhood to seniors. I am college educated and also work as a personal trainer teaching fitness classes and boot camps. I love the outdoors and staying fit. I am prepared to give your dog the best care possible at whatever fitness level you desire.

I have owned dogs all my life - Rottweiler, German Shepard, Pugs, Lab and I currently have an Italian Greyhound (an Iggy!). I have no issues with small or large breeds - I adore pit bulls and never judge any dog by their breed. My own dog has medical issues so I am very cognizant of dogs with special needs. If my own dog could give me a recommendation it would be an A+! Looking forward to loving your dogs as much as I love my own.

Hi, my name is Phil. I grew up on the east coast but am now going to school out here in LA. I've had dogs all my life and was the only kid in my cul-de-sac so dog sitting duties usually fell to me. I love animals and can't wait to start walking your dog

I've worked with and been a dog owner throughout my life. All of my dogs have been shelter dogs. I currently have several paying clients who's dogs I both walk and house sit for. I've volunteered at the local shelter as a child and that love of dogs is still as strong today as it was then.

Dog Walking in Malibu

Malibu is a beautiful beach city located in Los Angeles County, and if you and your dog love good food and fun beaches, then it's the place for you. Malibu is most known for being home to some of Hollywood’s movie stars, but your dog will probably be more concerned about the 27-miles of coast that he can see when traveling in Malibu.

If you’re driving through Malibu and need a place to stay, you’re in luck. Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club, Cabin in the Pines at Sage Hill, and Malibu Mountain Getaway are just a few of the pet-friendly places you can stay with Fido. Malibu is home to 8 awesome veterinarian clinics that your dog can visit to get a health checkup before hitting the beach. Malibu is also chalk full of pawsome trails, like the Zuma Ridge Trailhead, that your dog can explore, just make sure they stay on leash!

Malibu offers tons of yummy eateries for the foodie in you and your dog. Make sure to stop at Bui Sushi, Coral Beach Cantina or Tra di Noi which seems fancy but is a great casual Italian restaurant that loves when your dog stops by for some spaghetti.

The Escondido Falls Trail is a beautiful 4-mile out-and-back hike that will give you a stunning view of the Escondido Falls. The trail is a steep one and may be challenging for you and your dog, so make sure you wear good shoes and take breaks if your pup needs it. Your dog needs to be on leash the entire time, and be sure to pack water and clean-up bags since it is a conservancy zone. This trail is very popular with locals and horseback riders, so your dog will love all the socializing he can do. After a great hike stop by Geoffrey’s Malibu. Geoffrey’s offers tasty California cuisine and has a great outdoor patio that your dog will love.

The Trancas Canyon Dog Park is a great off-leash dog park to take your pup to for some off-leash fun. The dog park is in Trancas Canyon Park, and has tons of space for your dog to run around. The park offers benches for relaxing, a doggie water fountain, clean-up bags, and even some agility equipment to play on. If a dog park isn’t your scene, then visit the Charmlee Wilderness Park. The park has miles of different trails that you and your dog can hike and explore, but your pup does need to be on leash always. The park will give you a beautiful view of the California coast line. Be sure to bring water and clean-up bags, and keep an eye out for coyotes.

The Corral Canyon Trail is a pawsome hike that you and your dog can both enjoy. This loop trail is in the Santa Monica Mountains and your dog will love exploring the canyon with you. While visiting, your dog needs to stay on leash. If you’re looking for a mild hike, then check out Solstice Canyon. This hike offers a great view of the ocean and a fun little grotto to play in. Your dog needs to stay on leash while visiting since there are some ruins that Malibu doesn’t want disturbed. Be sure to bring clean-up bags and water, as there is none available here.

The Malibu Bluffs Park is a lovely place to take your dog for a great day out with breathtaking ocean views. The park has an awesome walking track, trails to explore, a picnic area for a nice lunch, and restrooms. There is a big open field filled with grass which is perfect for fetch or rolling. Be sure to bring some water for your furry friend, and clean-up bags. After a great day at the park, check out some of Malibu’s dog friendly restaurants, like Ollo Restaurant and Bar or Café Habana Malibu. Both have dog friendly patios and the staff welcomes your dog with open arms.

Hidden Valley is home to some dogtastic trails that you and your pup can explore. The Mishe Mokwa to Mount Allen Trail is a moderate 6-mile trail through the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. Your dog will love all the rocks he can climb on and explore while hiking. If you and your dog are looking for a more leisurely trail to enjoy, check out the Sandstone Peak Trail. This trail is 6.25-miles long and has an elevation gain of 1,075 feet. The summit gives you amazing views of Malibu. For a bit less of an adventure, the Grotto Trail is a simple 3-mile out and back trail that allows you to visit a secluded grotto which has lush green grass throughout it. On all these trails, make sure to bring plenty of water for your dog and clean-up bags!
