Dillon Beach Main
The census-designated place of Dillon Beach isn't divided into neighborhoods. The small area is home to one of the most popular dog-friendly beaches in the state, though, also known as Dillon Beach. This gorgeous beach has no laws for leashes, so your unleashed pup is welcome to explore the sand and surf with you for swimming, boating, and more. The Tomales Bakery is also here, and it's a place pooches love to visit. You'll find everything from fruit bars to unique bagels and breads here, and your dog is welcome to join you as you eat your goodies on the outdoor patio.

Oakhill Brewster
Oakhill Brewster is a popular residential area of Petaluma that sits about 18 miles east of Dillon Beach. Here, you and your pup can enjoy the Oak Hill Dog Park, which is an area of Oak Hill Park that allows dogs to go unleashed during designated hours. The area even has a watering spot to quench your dog's thirst as he plays and exercises! Some of Petaluma's favorite eating spots sit on the edge of this neighborhood, too. Roaring Donkey is one of them! In addition to its interesting name, the restaurant has some interesting beers and cocktails, too. Your dog is even welcome to join you inside during your outing!

Downtown Petaluma
About 20.3 miles from Dillon Beach is downtown Petaluma in Petaluma, CA. This is the place to be for dog-friendly eateries, featuring plenty of restaurant options where creatures with four paws are allowed to join their owners! Petaluma Pie Company is quite popular here, offering some of the most amazing sweet pies (and even meat and veggie pies!) you can feast your eyes on. Fourth and Sea is a great choice for dogs and their owners who love seafood, but the restaurant also offers some delicious American favorites, like burgers and melted-cheese sandwiches. Your pooch is welcome to dine with you outside.

College
College in Petaluma, CA is about 23 miles from Dillon Beach and just a few minutes east of Downtown Petaluma. College is the home of the popular Petaluma Village Premium Outlets and also offers some fun opportunities for pups to get outside. The Deer Creek Village Dog Park is an off-leash park that has some shade, benches, and waste bags to make the area a convenient place for owners to supervise. There are also three other parks in the neighborhood that welcome leashed dogs for walks, playing on their playgrounds, and meeting new friends. Bond Park is one of them, and it even has an off-leash area for pups who are obedient to their owners' calls.
West Junior College
Santa Rosa is around 28 miles from Dillon Beach, and the West Junior College neighborhood is one you won't want to miss. This neighborhood has two dog parks that your pooch will think are completely barktastic! DeTurk Round Barn Dog Park sits on the lower portion of the neighborhood and features some grass and sand and some pretty views of the nearby round barn, a pupular sight in Santa Rosa! On the northern end of the neighborhood is the Franklin Park Off Leash Area, a designated dog area within Franklin Park that allows dogs to exercise, play, and socialize unleashed during special hours.
