Lawson's Landing

Just a bit north on the coast of Tomales Bay is a campground that has plenty of amenities for dogs and people. Most of the area is a campground, but if camping isn’t your thing, don’t worry, because the landing has parks, and of course, a beautiful beach for you and Rover to play on. Your dogs are allowed to be off-leash at the beach and on your campsite. This beach is a furrtastic way to get some exercise while enjoying the gorgeous ocean from up close. Just make sure you do not throw the frisbee too far out there.

Blakes Landing

While there are not any specific dog parks in this little community, there are plenty of open beaches for people to explore and soak up the sun. Your dog can enjoy the beach all day long with all the freedom they deserve. Owners frequent these beaches every day, so Rover can socialize and roll around with all the other pups. If you like boating or kayaking, this is a perfect spot to do it because the waves are nice and calm. If your dog loves the water, you definitely won't want to miss this beach!

Millerson Point

This is a pawesome dog-friendly beach that welcomes all dogs to come and play in the sand and soak up the sun. They can relax with you and enjoy the view of the Tomales Bay, or they can get wild and romp in the water. No leashes are required here, only responsible pet parents are needed. The beach is wonderful and has great weather all year-round, but it is also close to some dog-friendly places up and down the coast along the bay.

Tomales Bay State Park

Tomales Bay has miles of beaches that you only see in the movies, unless you live there, of course. The state park has miles of beaches, nature that is awe-inspiring, and wonderful trails that take you through the magnificent hills and small mountains that make up the land in the state park. Oh yeah, and you can absolutely bring Fido to accompany you at this park! The views of the bay are some of the most spectacular sights in the world.

Tomales Bay Trailhead

This trailhead provides access to a long trail that stretches most of the way down the bay. The start of the trail is at the northern tip of the bay. You and Fido can enjoy gorgeous views of the bay, but your pal needs to be on a leash here. You can also bike the trails if you want. You'll want to bring some drinking water and doggie waste bags, since these aren't provided here. There are plenty of places to stop and rest, eat, and get supplies while out on the trail for you and Fido.
