I currently live in an apartment that doesn't allow animals, so this job is a way for me to spend time with dogs all day, get some exercise AND make money. It's a dream come true!

I am a retired female in my early 60’s who is a regular daily walker. As a Wag! Walker I have done over 200 dog walks. I am RELIABLE & RESPONSIBLE. Numerous owners have designated me as their preferred walker. I always go the extra mile for the dogs in my care, ie: making sure each dog has fresh water at the end of our walk. And, if it has been rainy & wet, I wipe the dog’s paws before bringing him/her back into your home. I would love to walk your Pup!

Hi! My names Miranda and I would be honored to take care of your precious pups! For as long as I can remember animals have been the center focus of my life. I grew up riding horses, participating in 4H and even had the rewarding experience of raising two Labrador’s for guide dogs for the blind! I am a long time employee at a popular doggie daycare in the area and know what it takes to keep all dogs- big and small- the happiest they can be! I also currently work with horses and am going to school for Equine Science and Zoology. This isn’t just a job to me, this is what I love! I get great satisfaction by knowing I am giving animals the best love and care possible and I know how much that means to their owners! I hope to meet you and your beloved for legged friends very soon!

My name is Suzanne and I am a dog loving resident of Sonoma County. I cannot remember a time when dogs were not a part of my life. Volunteering for rescue organizations, fostering and placement, plus running a dog boarding/walking care service from my home, I have experience with all sizes, ages, breeds of dogs in many conditions. I have learned how to care for dogs with special training and health care needs. I am now retired and want to spend my time being active which of course means being with dogs. Having worked full time all my life I know how hard it is to have dogs and need to leave them home during the work week. Now that I'm retired, I can be here for your dog. I can give your dog my full attention and am able to focus on the their individual care and needs. Let me make you happy by making your dog happy.

Kellogg is a unique town in California where you and your dog are welcome to explore plenty of rural land with a variety of scenery for you and your dog to take in. The area is divided by streams and creeks that add lots of sparkle to this pupperific stop on your way through the valleys of California. Kellogg Creek is one place where you can take your pup for a fun-filled frolic in the sun. You will want to throw a few towels in the back of your car before you head over. You can also enjoy the waters of Yellowjacket Creek together. The Robert Louis Stevenson State Park is just a short fifteen-minute drive away if you are looking for a greener spot for you to explore together.
Kellogg is an amazing place if you need a stop away from the hustle and bustle of the towns to the north and south. Even though the area is mostly open land, you will want to keep your pup on-leash as there are lots of truckers moving right along through the area on the main roads. The nearest animal hospital is nine minutes to the south, in nearby Calistoga.
You and your pooch will love everything Kellogg and its surrounding communities have to offer!
Seven miles from you is a place where you can have a refined dinner with your dog. Solbar is an upscale restaurant that features menu items that are as beautiful as they are delectable. The outdoor patio is large and spacious, with plenty of room for you to enjoy dinner with your dog comfortably. The views from the patio are quite spectacular. Reservations for dinner seem to be hard to get, so you should definitely go for lunch if you can. The lunch atmosphere is a lot more relaxed and pet-friendly than the dinner one.
Calistoga Inn and Brewery is a great fur-friendly place to come and dine with your dog. Outdoor seating is limited so it’s always best to call ahead. You will love their classic pub food. After all, who doesn’t enjoy a great burger? Your precious pal is welcome to stay with you at the inn, so if you enjoy the craft brew a little too much, you can find accommodations. This is a great place to meet up with your friends or to meet some new ones. You’ll definitely want to visit again, since it’s less than ten miles from Kellogg.
Oat Hill Mine is the place to go to stretch your legs and find an adventure around the corner. And the best part is that it’s only 7 miles from Kellogg, so you can visit again and again. This easy-to-access trailhead that leads you through wine country. It is framed by beautiful view and panoramic scenery. Your pal can hike off-leash as long as he’s well-behaved and responds well to voice commands. It is recommended that you don’t get off the trail, because this area is known for poison ivy growing rampantly.
Old Faithful Geyser is the place to go to see a variety of nature. You can visit the family farms and take a tour. Don’t forget to see the fainting goats while you are here! Of course, there is the geyser itself to see and watch. The museum highlights the history and details of the surrounding area and the geyser itself. This is a one-of-a-kind place that is open for you to explore with your dog -- provided that he’s well-behaved and on leash, of course. There is a snack bar in case you get hungry, or you could bring your own lunch to enjoy in the picnic areas.
Napa Good Dog Wine Tour is just a little bit of a drive at 35 miles. However, it is so much fun that you will be glad you talked your dog into going! Your pal will receive a professional dog trainer, who will walk with you both during the self-guided tour. You can even create your own tour, or you can ask the staff to help you. While you enjoy a classic wine tasting, you can rest assured that Fido will be in good hands with his trainer. They’ll provide everything that your darling dog needs, including a bowl and a ball to play with. This is a great way to spend an afternoon with your pal!
