For a truly unique experience, head to Russian River Adventures, a dog-friendly canoeing business. This adventure maker rents out canoes to people and their dogs, and even provides the lifejackets for both. Waste bag stations are at the beginning of the trip, so stock up before you head out! Once out on the river, your dog is welcome to swim off-leash and play along any of the shores and swimming holes. Be sure to bring plenty of water too, as you and your dog will probably get worn out by all the paddling and swimming.
