This neighborhood is home to Saint Helena’s one off-leash dog run, Wappo Dog Park. This dog park has a large field where your dog can run, play, and make friends with other dogs. The field is fenced in, keeping your pup secure while they play. Bring water and doggy bags, and enjoy spending the day here! If playing in the dog park makes you and your pup hungry, check out the St. Helena Bistro. This bistro welcomes leashed dogs on their outdoor patio and serves burgers, sandwiches, steaks, pasta dishes, salads that feature local ingredients, and much more!

If you’re searching for a good spot to take your pup for a leisurely on-leash stroll, Jacob Meily Park is perfect for you. This park is home to a walking trail that goes along the scenic Sulphur Creek. The trail is paved, making it easy for your dog to walk on, and offers stunning views of Sulphur Creek and the woods around it. Bring some doggy bags and water with you, and have a good time walking here. After the park, continue your fun day out with lunch at Gott’s Roadside. Located 19 miles from Saint Helena, this Santa Rosa neighborhood is home to the Rincon Valley Dog Park. This pawsitively amazing dog park has separate areas for big and small dogs to play in. This park is about 20 miles from Saint Helena, and dogs can be off-leash throughout the whole park as long as they’re under voice control. While you’re here, you can explore scenic trails that go through the woods, providing great views the whole way through. There’s also a large open field that’s perfect for dogs who love going for long runs.
