While hiking, you will be covered by plenty of trees for shade and you can walk down to the river to cool down. There is a beach area with sand where you can sit out and relax on the river, but make sure when you are at the park to keep Fido on a leash. Bring your clean-up bags along with you.

Market Square Park is a pawsome park to get a walk in together. The park holds a skate park, playground, basketball courts, and benches for owners to sit on. This beutiful park is filled with a playground, benches, and has tons of trees for shade. There is a large grassy area where Fido can run, and a nice walking path where the two of you can get a good day's worth of exercise in.
