South Marysville

The River Front Park sits along the Feather River and is a lovely place to relax with your dog. This small park has a great hiking trail along the river where you and Fido can get a walk. While hiking, you will be covered by plenty of trees for shade and you can walk down to the river to cool down. There is a beach area with sand where you can sit out and relax on the river, but make sure when you are at the park to keep Fido on a leash. Bring your clean-up bags along with you. 

Ellis Lake

The Ellis Lake Park sits inside of Ellis Lake and offers an amazing view. This beautiful park is filled with a picnic area, gazebo, and a large grass field. There is a paved path that circles the lake, just make sure to keep your dog on a leash while you are here since there are a lot of geese at the lake. Market Square Park is a pawsome park to get a walk in together. The park holds a skate park, playground, basketball courts, and benches for owners to sit on. There is a paved path around the park where you both can get a walk in together before heading home. If you want a few more amenities, check out Veterans Park. The park has a veterans memorial, plus a huge grass area, picnic tables, benches, a playground, and a paved walking path. After a fun day out at the park, stop into Maria's Mexican Restaurant for a bite to eat. This casual eatery serves up delicious Mexican cuisine and their outdoor patio is dog-friendly.

Triplett Park is a great park to go explore with your furry pal. The park has a playground, picnic area, benches, and restrooms for your and your dog. There is a nice grass area for fetch, or take advantage of the paved walking path and get a walk in with your four-legged friend. Your dog will love hanging out at the SJ Field Park with you. This beutiful park is filled with a playground, benches, and has tons of trees for shade. There is a large grassy area where Fido can run, and a nice walking path where the two of you can get a good day's worth of exercise in.

Southeast Marysville

The Park Circle Park is a smaller neighborhood park that is perfect to take your dog to for a walk. The park is covered in trees for shade and also has a playground. There are a small grass area and a great paved walking path that circles throughout the park where you and your dog can get some exercise in. The park is open from dawn until dusk, giving you plenty of time to go for a visit. While there, make sure to keep your dog on a leash, and don't forget some water and your clean-up bags.

SW Yuba

Bogue Park is a lovely park to go and explore with your pup. The park contains a playground, benches, and an open grass area. They have a paved walking path and a doggie waste bag area in case you forget yours. If Fido is craving some off leash time, then check out the Off the Leash Dog Park. The park is separated into two areas, one for large dogs and one for small, and is filled with packed dirt and grass for your dog to run along. They provide water for your dog and clean-up bags as well. The Shanghai Garden Park is a huge park with grassy hills that your dog can run on. There is a basketball court, playground, benches, and a nice walking area that is covered in trees. Located in Yuba City and only five miles out from Marysville, your dog will have a great time exploring these new parks.
