City Center
Tyndall Landing, CA is a small area of Yolo County, California that hasn’t yet been designated as a city. To get to some dog-friendly areas, you’ll need to travel a bit, but there’s plenty around to explore! The City Center of Woodland is a good place for you and your pup and is only 20 miles away from Tyndall Landing. Here, your dog can play off his leash in the fenced-in Woodland Dog Park. Small and large dogs can play separately for safety! The area also has some pet-friendly hotels, pawfect for you if you’re just visiting. And, there are a few restaurants in the neighborhood that will welcome your dog at designated tables, like Kitchen428, which features local favorites made from local ingredients.

Aspen
A little over 27 miles from Tyndall Landing is the Aspen neighborhood of Davis, CA. This neighborhood has its own dog park within the Aspen Greenbelt Park. The off-leash area is fenced in and gives your dog a chance to run, play, and socialize with his furry pals! And the Sycamore Park Off-Leash Area within Sycamore Park is another place to bring your pup for a change of scenery. This area isn’t fenced, though, so it’s best for dogs who can be trusted to come back with a quick call. You’re free to explore both full parks with your dog on his leash for some fun in the sun and outdoor recreation you both can enjoy.

Aggie Village
Aggie Village in Davis is about 31 miles from Tyndall Landing and is the place to be if you and your pooch desire some of the area’s tastiest foods. This neighborhood is jam-packed full of dog-friendly restaurants. For some tasty treats, try Let Them Eat Cake!, a family-owned and operated business that serves up everything from delicious coffee and drinks to sugary treats, and even has some sandwiches on the menu. The front outdoor seating is designed especially for dogs and their owners to enjoy. You can also head to Pluto’s if you’re looking for some healthy, fresh foods, like salads and chicken sandwiches. There’s outdoor seating for you and Fido.

Covell Park
Covell Park in Davis is just under 27 miles from Tyndall Landing. The Community Park Dog Run in the neighborhood is a small area within Covell Park that sits near the skate park, where your dog can run unleashed and have some fun with new friends. This neighborhood is also home to the Davis PETCO store, which has just about every treat and toy you can imagine for your four-legged best friend – and he’s welcome to join you as you shop. When bellies start growling, you can head to ChickPeas, a Mediterranean restaurant with plenty to offer – including four tables that welcome dogs to join their owners!
Waggner Ranch
A little over 27 miles from Tyndall Landing is Waggner Ranch in Davis. This neighborhood offers two dog parks for your pup to enjoy. Walnut Park Off-Leash Area is a designated area in Walnut Park that allows dogs to roam free of their leashes with their owners nearby. Your dog can enjoy playing in the water and grass and hiking the trails with you! Toad Hallow Dog Park is a fenced-in park for those who need a little more boundary. The 2.5-acre space is perfect for your dog to get some outside exercise, and there are some benches for owners to relax as they supervise.
