Hi my name is Erin Hinton and I have had dogs all my life. I currently have 2 lab and golden mixes. I have been dog sitting and walking for the past 8 years. For the last 4 years I have also trained dogs as well. Working with dogs and just being around them makes me happy and feel safe. Dogs bring so much joy to a person I couldn't imagine not being around them. As an owner I do know how important it is to have a piece of mind when you are asking someone to work or walk your dog. That is the most important thing ever to know your dog is in good hands.

Howdy, I'm Evan! I've had a lifelong love of dogs, getting my first pup, a boston terrier/australian shepherd mix, at the age of 5. Since then I've had the pleasure of owning big dogs and little dogs of various temperaments, and trained a few to boot! I've pet-sat for friends and family many times, and I've always left those puppers just as happy and healthy as they were when the owner left. I can't wait to meet your furry friend and help them get the exercise they need and deserve!

“Bags: check! Treats: check! Let's Walk!”

Hi there! I adopted my most recent dog in Dec '18. He's an energetic furball and full of love but I feel bad when I have to leave him at home for long amounts of time. I know it is stressful for me and I'm sure he finds it quite boring. I am hoping that I can give that to other dogs too when someone might not be around to play or take them out during a busy day. I have owned dogs in the past and love the 2 way relationship of having a dog. Hoping to meet some new furry friends through Wag!

Hi! My name is Ashley. I grew up with a toy poodle and a Yorkshire terrier in my home, but was great friends with all the neighborhood pups too! I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, and have spent time with those as small as chihuahuas and those a large as great danes! I currently do not share my home with a pup, as I cannot commit the time needed to a k9 buddy, but I would love to meet your furry friend and love them as my own! I look forward to meeting you and your dog!

Hi! My name may be Cat but guess what? I love dogs! My studio apartment is too small to have a dog now and something in my heart is missing. So Wag! to the rescue! Now I can give all my love and needed exercise to my neighbors dogs. I rescued my past dog Alice, a 4 year old, American Eskimo Spitz mix and every since she crossed her rainbow bridge I have found joy in other peoples dogs. I have dog sat for several friends and take care for my brothers German Shepard mix, Foxy, now for almost 5 years when I watch my nephews. My Dad is also a dog trainer for his local shelter and I have learned great tips from him. I simply just love having fun and exercising pups; big or small. And what a perfect way to get my "dog fix" by focusing my energy into my neighbors dogs when they have to be away from their best friend.

Dog Walking in Woodland

If you and Fido want to go on a road trip, check out Woodland, California. This charming city in central California is known for its gorgeous mountain views and small-town atmosphere because it is a bit of a distance from the city. There are almost 13,000 dogs living in Woodland, so it has a variety of dog-friendly places to go.

After the car ride, it may be time to take your furbaby off the leash and let him run with the other dogs at Woodland Dog Park on East Street & 24A. It is completely fenced and has separate large and small dog areas. You can relax freely (and hopefully stress-free!) on one of the benches with the other dog lovers while your pup gets rid of that excess energy. There are drinking fountains and restrooms and don’t forget to use the doggy poo waste bags and receptacles.

Ready for a hike? Grizzly Island is an amazing experience for any hiker, no matter their skill level. They have 75 miles of marsh, wetlands, woods, and prairies where you can see waterfowl, hawks, pheasant, elk, rabbit, and even a fox or bobcat if you are lucky. With all the wildlife, there are no grizzly bears, so I am not sure why they call it Grizzly Island. Nobody has seen a grizzly there since 1922!
