Cerro Villa Heights

Cerro Villa Heights, on the north side of town, has a middle school and streets with private residences. There are sidewalk-lined roads here that are pawesome places to take your canine pal for a stroll. When you want to give your special friend a chance to get some off-leash exercise, head north about three miles to Olive Hills Dog Park in Anaheim. This fenced facility has separate sections for large and small dogs. Each area includes waste and water stations, an obstacle course, and benches. Let your companion play with other four-footed friends here. Make sure you clean up any waste.

Orange Park Acres

Orange Park Acres is located east of Villa Park. This development includes private estates and peaceful roads where you and Fido can take a walk. If you want to get out and explore nature with your pup, head about 2.7 miles southwest to the El Modena Open Space. Hike the dirt paths in this undeveloped facility. Climb the series of hills to see spectacular views of northern Orange County. Look for landmarks like Disneyland. Dogs can join you here, provided they're on a leash that's no longer than six feet. Remember to bring water and waste bags with you for your outing.

Santiago Oaks

There are streets lined with single-family homes in Santiago Oaks. This neighborhood is located by the northeast corner of Villa Park. There are a few community trails here where you can stretch your legs with your pup. For some real exercise, take Fido to Santiago Oaks Regional Park. The 1,760-acre facility includes an orange grove, forest, and a network of trails. Follow the pathways up the ridges in this park for scenic views of the area. Dogs are welcome to join you here as long as they're on a leash up to six feet long. Make sure you bring along some water and waste bags.

Orange Hills

The neighborhood of Orange Hills borders Villa Park on the northwest. This community includes a commercial district and residential streets. If you want a break from the daily routine of walking along the sidewalk in your area, head to Eisenhower Park. This facility includes open spaces, tables, and walking trails. Go for a hike or jog with your furry friend, then enjoy a little outdoor picnic together. You can bring dogs here as long as you keep them on a leash as long as six feet.
