The Modjeska Community Park is less of a park and more of a nice area of nature where you and Fido can hang out. This park has a fenced in playground and a nice walking trail that takes you up a great hill. This park is perfect to bring Fido to for a good walk before continuing your day. The Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary in the canyon offers a science center, amphitheater, and three hiking trails for you and your pup to enjoy. The trails offer picnic tables and benches for you both to relax on if you need to take a break. While visiting the sanctuary, your dog needs to stay on leash.36
Trabuco Canyon
The Falls Canyon Trail offers an 11.4-mile hike near Tujunga that features a great view of a waterfall. This out and back hike is generally not very busy, making it ideal for shy pups. You and Fido will be getting a good workout on this trail since it has an 3,106-foot elevation gain. Once you reach the waterfall, you will be greeted with a river that you both can jump in to cool down.
