North Laguna Beach`
Looking for a good ol' fashioned dog park? Laguna Beach Dog Park is located just a short 7-mile drive away from Laguna Hills. There's plenty of room for your pup to run and romp in this grassy off-leash park. It's also well-shaded, which is a necessity for those hot California days. The rules are pretty strict; dogs must have a current license, and they have to be leashed when entering or exiting the park. Another obvious rule is that you have to pick up after your pup. Water and waste stations are provided. Be aware that the park is closed on Wednesdays due to maintenance.

Central Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach Best Friend Dog Park is located in Central Huntington Beach, about 21 miles away from Laguna Hills. Like most dog parks, this off-leash dog park features two separate areas for small and large breeds. Most of the necessities are provided here, including shade, benches, and doggie water fountains. You'll just need to bring your own waste bags, as well as plenty of energy to run and play with your pup. Huntington Beach is also home to an off-leash dog beach, so be sure to stop by if you're looking to enjoy some fun in the sun with your pooch!

South Fullerton
Fullerton Pooch Park is a little further afield at 27 miles away, but this highly rated dog park is a furrific place to play off-leash! The locals love this dog park, so your pup is sure to make some new friends here. This park is securely fenced so dogs can roam safely off-leash. Water, bowls, and some toys are provided, but you'll need to bring the doggie waste bags. Another great perk of this park is its night lighting, so you and Fido can play after dark. Pet parents have plenty of shaded seating where they can rest and relax while watching their furry friends play.

Orangetree
Looking for a dog park closer to Laguna Hills? You'll find the Central Bark Dog Park just 8 miles away, in Irvine's Orangetree neighborhood. This spacious park has plenty of grass for your pup to play in and explore. There are three separate areas here: one for small breeds, and two for larger dogs. Doggie water fountains are provided here, but locals note that they can leak and make dogs' paws muddy. You may want to bring some of your own just in case. Other than that, though, this off-leash park is very clean and loved by locals, so come on out and let Fido make some new fur-iends!
