If you’re looking for a chance to let your dog have some fun running around off his leash, make sure to check out Laguna Niguel Pooch Park! This bark park offers your dog the chance to get in his daily exercise while making plenty of new friends of his own species. Be aware that have been rattlesnakes in the area; there are signs posted throughout the park saying as much, so keep your eyes open. You’ll need to bring along your own waste disposal bags and water for both you and your pooch.

Crown Valley Park
Located in the Crown Valley Park neighborhood of Laguna Niguel is Niguel Botanical Preserve. If your dog loves going for walks, and you want to enjoy the scenery just as much as he does, make sure to stop by for a visit! Niguel Botanical Preserve showcases breathtaking flowers and other plants, and Fido can join you, so it’s fun for both of you. Chapparosa Park
If you and your dog want to explore somewhere new while going for a walk, check out Salt Creek Trail! This trail is exactly five miles long, but whether you walk the whole trail or only part of it, you and your canine companion are sure to have fun exploring the area. Fido is allowed on the trail with you, but he’ll need to be on a leash – one no longer than six feet – at all times. Make sure to bring along plenty of water for both you and your dog, and you’ll want to bring along waste disposal bags in case nature calls.

Tijeras Canyon
Located about fifteen minutes from of Laguna Niguel is Mission Viejo, which is home to the aptly named La Paws Park! If the name didn’t tip you off, this park is for our friends with paws – specifically, dogs! There are separate areas for differently-sized dogs, allowing your dog to make some friends of his own size. Both areas are fenced in and double-gated, so there’s no need to worry about your dog getting out of the park. Water is provided, but you’ll need to bring your own waste disposal bags.

Willow Staging Area
If you and your pup are looking for another dog park to visit, head over to Laguna Beach Dog Park! Located about twenty minutes from Laguna Niguel, this local favorite is completely off-leash and fenced in, allowing your dog to burn off any pent-up energy. Make sure to bring along your dog’s favorite toys, as there’s plenty of room for him to run around and chase after his trusty ball! Laguna Beach Dog Park is open six days a week; be aware that it’s closed on Wednesdays for routine maintenance and upkeep, so plan your trip around that. Make sure to bring your own water and waste disposal bags.
