“A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”

I’m a Connecticut native, born and raised in the area with a brief relocation to Indianapolis until summer of 2020. Current residence is an apartment in Stamford, CT. I live in an 800 sq ft apartment with no other animals. I am very active, spending most days either out on hikes or at home on my Peloton bike. I work full time but am currently working from home with no potential end date to that. Huge lover of all animals with a vegetarian diet and vegan product consumer. Happy to connect!

Hello! My name is Gabriella Fortuna and I am a recent graduate of the University of Hartford. I have many years of experience handling dogs of all kinds. Growing up, I took care of my parents dogs, (a Westie and a Schnauzer mix). After high school, I worked at a dog kennel for a year walking, playing with, and taking care of all kinds of dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have never met a dog I couldn't handle or that I didn't absolutely love!

I am a 2018 college graduate of psychology. I use wag as a great way to explore my new town and help cherish my love for animals. I grew up owning a dog, cat, fish, hamster, rabbit and three horses. I have left the animal farm and miss caring for animals. My apartment complex currently does not allow pets - Wag! provides me with a great platform to continue caring for the ones I love. Message for longer hikes!

“I love your dog!”

Hello, my name is Julia! I have grown up surrounded by animals, and have always had a special place in my heart for dogs. After my own pup, Josie, died of cancer last year I’ve been looking for ways to spend more time with dogs — walking is a perfect option! I’ve worked at an animal “hotel”/rescue shelter before, exercising and socializing dogs, and have a knack for making sure they have fun!
