Chaplecroft is a beautiful Camden neighborhood with tons to offer its furry residents and visitors. The neighborhood is mostly residential with budget-friendly, single-family homes. Many Chaplecroft residents enjoy spending their free time in Brecknock County Park, a dog-friendly park located in the northern end of the neighborhood. This park welcomes dogs on-leash, and it’s home to a furrific .09-mile loop trail that takes you around the park. Along the way, you’ll pass through beautiful wooded areas and large fields. Bring doggy bags and water for you and your dog, and have a good time exploring this Chaplecroft park.

Killens Pond Road
If you’re searching for another pawsitively amazing place to take your dog for an on-leash walk, head to this Harrington neighborhood and check out Browns Branch County Park. Located about 13 miles from Camden, this park has two trails you can explore with your dog. If you want a short walk, try the 0.3-mile Browns Branch Nature Trail. Or, if you’d like to go for a longer stroll, hop on the 1.1-mile Browns Branch Boundary Loop Trail. After your walk, cool off with a dip in Browns Branch County Park’s lovely creek. Then, if you’re hungry, grill up lunch for you and your dog on one of the park’s charcoal grills. If your pup gets thirsty after all this excitement, a doggy water fountain is available in the park.
