This dog park has a sturdy fence surrounding the entire park, and it includes a separate section for big dogs and another for small dogs. The park is open every day from 7 AM to sunset, and during the warm months, there are running water fountains for dogs.

The park has water fountains that both humans and dogs can use, and there is also shade and seating throughout the park. The K-9 Cody Dog Park was named after one of Havre de Grace's beloved service dogs who passed away in 2002.
