South Rehoboth is home to Hammerheads Dockside, which serves seafood favorites including oysters and fish. Not in the mood for seafood? No problem! The restaurant also has chicken wings. If you’re over the age of 21, make sure to try one of their amazing alcoholic slush drinks. Fido can join you on the patio as long as he stays on his leash and is on his best behavior. Bone Appetit!

Central Rehoboth Beach

Want even more places to chow down with your chow hound? Visit Central Rehoboth Beach, where there are numerous places Fido can join you for some grub. Grab a delicious slice of pizza at Grotto Pizza; if you’re feeling generous, share a bite with your pup. Lori’s Café serves up lighter fare, including sandwiches and salads. Finish up your meal with some delectable chocolate from Kilwin’s Chocolate. Fido can join you on the patio, but make sure you don’t share your dessert with him, as it’s bad for him! No matter what you’re in the mood for, Central Rehoboth Beach can’t be beat when you want a treat!

Delaware Seashore State Park

If you and your dog love exploring nature together, make sure to visit Delaware Seashore State Park, which is just outside of Dewey Beach. This state park has several trails weaving throughout it, so you and Fido can pick the best option for the both of you. All of the trails are easy to moderate in difficulty, so they’re perfect for beginner hikers. Fido will, of course, have to stay on his leash for the duration of your hike. You’ll want to make sure you bring plenty of water for the both of you and waste disposal bags to clean up any messes.

Aspen Meadows

If you’re looking for more places to eat with your dog, make sure to visit Aspen Meadows in Rehoboth Beach. It’s just a few miles up the road from Dewey Beach. Here, you and Fido can enjoy dinner on the patio of Crabby Dick’s! As the name implies, this restaurant serves up delicious but affordable seafood. Fido isn’t allowed in the building, and he’ll need to be on a leash. If you want lighter fare, check out Philly Pretzel Factory. Everyone loves a soft pretzel, and here, there are plenty of varieties!

Cape Henlopen

Cape Henlopen State Park gives you and your curious canine yet another opportunity to explore nature together! Eight trails can be found in Cape Helopen, each varying in difficulty. Make sure to pick one that works well for both you and your dog. If you’re feeling really adventurous, why not camp overnight? Fido is welcome to join you in your tent, but he just might miss his dog bed. Your pup will have to stay on a leash while you’re in the park, no matter what section you decide to explore together. Make sure to grab a trail map before heading out!
