It is my goal to provide a positive and individualized experience for each dog that I am asked to care for. Upon given the opportunity, I would strive to enrich the life of your pet and be a positive presence when your schedule does not allow you to be. As a dog sitter of three years and dog owner myself, I understand and appreciate the unique needs of each dog and would treat your pet as my own.

Hi there, my name is Katherine! I’m originally from Philadelphia but moved to DC for school. My first pet I grew up with, Goldie, was a Golden Retriever and Yellow Labrador mix. We added a new member to our family, Emmy, who is a boisterous Westie! I miss her dearly, which is why I wanted to become a Wag dog walker. I’ve always loved being around dogs and nothing makes me happier than spending my free time with pups of all ages and sizes. I can’t wait to meet your best friend!

Hi, I'm Ana! I'm from Cape May, NJ where my family owns a dog named Rosie. I started dog walking and sitting for my neighbors when I was 15. The city of Cape May, New Jersey is a place of historical significance. It is recognized as the country's “oldest seaside resort”. It started to become a popular spot for vacationers in the mid-18th century. It was also known for its roles in World War II, as it helped to protect the American coastline and reduced the number of Americans lost at sea.
Cape May is also Fido-friendly! Here, you'll find several restaurants where you and your canine companion can share a bite. You can choose from a more formal setting or something a bit more casual depending on your mood. Unsurprisingly, many of the restaurants serve up fresh seafood -- it is a port city, after all! -- among a variety of other cuisines. All of these restaurants have a place for outdoor seating and are very accommodating to you and your pet.
Once you've filled your growling bellies, you'll find plenty of opportunities to burn off those extra calories. There is a trail here where you can enjoy a hike, as well as walking tours of this beautiful coastal city.
No matter what you choose to do in Cape May, you and your pooch will enjoy bonding together, whether it's over a plate of food, on a tour or hiking a trail. You and your pooch are sure to make un-fur-gettable memories here!
This neighborhood has a pawesome beach for you and your furry friend to enjoy! Sunset Beach allows your leashed dog to accompany you during certain times of year. Fido is allowed on the beach from mid-September until mid-April. The sand is soft and there are a lot of sites to see while you are here. The best thing to see is the SS Atlantus, which is a WWI concrete ship that sits on the shore. If you and your pooch get hungry, head to The Grille! This casual eatery serves up delicious dishes, and has dog-friendly seating outside for you and your pooch to enjoy a meal together. You will want to bring water, doggie waste bags and also something for shade.
Looking for a unique adventure that allows you and Fido to get up-close and personal with some marine life? The Cape May Whale Watcher is a dog-friendly boat tour that gives you the opportunity to spot some whales and dolphins! Your pooch is allowed to accompany you as long as they are well-behaved and are on a leash for the boat ride. The best part? Pups are welcome on board for no extra charge! You may want to bring a water bowl and some water in case Fido gets thirsty. Don't forget your camera!
If you are looking for something different to do with your pooch, check out Turdo Vineyards & Winery. This is a beautiful area that allows your pooch to accompany you as you tour the winery and vineyard. You can embark on your own self-guided tour, and your dog can accompany you as long as they stay on a leash and are well-behaved. There are tables on the patio as well as benches throughout the vineyard. You may want to bring some water and a bowl for your pooch, along with doggie waste bags for cleaning up. An outdoor adventure complete with dogs and wine -- what more could you want?!
This furrific neighborhood has a great trail for you and your pooch to try out: the Cold Spring Bike Path. This asphalt trail runs for about 2.7 miles and is part of the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy. This trail is a fairly easy hike, so it's perfect for beginners. On the trail, you will come across a bridge over a stream -- the perfect place to stop and enjoy a quiet moment before resuming your walk. Something to keep in mind is that there are not a lot of trees for shade here. You will want to bring water and supplies for cleaning up after your pooch. What are you waiting fur? Lace up your walking shoes and hit the trail!
The northern region of Cape May is home to an excellent Fido-friendly activity. The Cape May Winery welcomes dogs and their owners for a relaxing day. This winery is over 70 acres and has 3 tasting rooms available. Your pooch is allowed to accompany you in all the tasting rooms while you sample the goods; you will just need to keep Fido on a leash. Some of the tours are dog-friendly, too. There is a nice patio that has a marvelous view of the vineyard. The staff will even provide a water bowl for your dog’s comfort! You won't go hungry here, either -- you'll find plenty of snacks to purchase. Be sure to bring doggie waste bags for cleanup. Visit this pawpular spot and bond over some wine with your pooch!
