North Avalon

North Avalon is home to the Grace O'Brien Park, where you are welcome to bring your leashed pet with you on adventures. You will need to bring some doggy waste bags with you. The Cape May Bird Observatory may not welcome your four-legged barking machine inside of the birding areas, but you will find plenty of pretty trails and walkways to explore and sniff in the areas that surround it and as you approach the water. If you have a sea-faring pup, the Commodore Bay Marina is worth stopping by on your way through this pupperific neighborhood on a warm and sunny day.

North West Avalon

This small neighborhood is unique in that it juts out over the Pensylvania Harbor and offers a variety of housing options for those looking for a place a little farther away from the beaches and boardwalks. You and your dog will find some of the best walking paths right here in North West Avalon, as you can see the water from almost anywhere. Just make sure you check out the outdoor area of Sylvester's Fish Market and Restaurant during the spring and summer months for some of the freshest ingredients that both you and Sparky will enjoy to the fullest.

Central Avalon

Central Avalon has many things to offer dog walkers and pup lovers who are either moving in or passing through. You can start your day with a quick stop at Avalon Coffee, where you can grab a latte with your dog in the outdoor seating area if you like. You can then head to Avalon Boro Public Park for leash-friendly canine shenanigans. Just be sure to stash some extra doggy waste bags and clean up behind your pooch before you head to the Avalon Boardwalk for access to both sand and sun. If you are traveling to the beach, make sure you keep an eye on your pup's paws!

East Avalon

East Avalon is comprised of a series of small harbors that are simply pawfect for your pup's nautical side. If you enjoy boat rides and making friends with seagulls, your dog will have a blast with you in Blue Fish Harbor or Yale Harbor! You will find highly coveted real estate along Pelican Drive, right before you arrive at Whale Harbor. Just make sure you have a good leash and harness on your dog if you plan on spending a lot of time exploring these beautiful harbors. You will also want plenty of drinking water and a collapsible bowl for Spot.

South Avalon

South Avalon is a beautiful neighborhood right at the edge of the water where you will find things to sniff and gobble with your beloved pet. Brady's Hoagie Dock has plenty of outdoor picnic tables where you can grab a delicious lunch with your pup. Just make sure you have your leash secured while you enjoy your meal, and be prepared for a quick lap around the grass as soon as you are finished. The Avalon Beach begins in this neighborhood, just minutes from the Avalon Boro. You can also visit tons of smaller green spaces in between the city blocks in South Avalon on your way to the beach!
