Hi there, my name is Katherine! I’m originally from Philadelphia but moved to DC for school. My first pet I grew up with, Goldie, was a Golden Retriever and Yellow Labrador mix. We added a new member to our family, Emmy, who is a boisterous Westie! I miss her dearly, which is why I wanted to become a Wag dog walker. I’ve always loved being around dogs and nothing makes me happier than spending my free time with pups of all ages and sizes. I can’t wait to meet your best friend!

Your furry loved ones will be in great hands with me.
I'm currently a senior at Rutgers University, majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Research. I have been extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to work with cows, pigs, goats, sheep, and chickens through my program at school. I also volunteer on the weekends at the Happy Homes Animal Shelter with cats, and am a dog walker/cat socializer at the Ocean City Humane Society when I'm at home. I’m so happy to add that I’ve started a job as a veterinary technician at the Warren Township Animal Hospital! I grew up in South Jersey with two Standard Poodles named Mollie and Ellie. I also grown up around Pitbulls, English Springer Spaniels, miniature Poodles, Shitzus, and Boston Terriers. I absolutely love animals, and cannot wait to meet your dogs! I also have experience with hamsters, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, rabbits, snakes, lizards, turtles, and fish. I absolutely love animals, and would love to help you take care of your fur-baby while you're away. I'm also comfortable feeding and checking on cats, or other animals that may need attention while you're out of the house.
Hi! My name is Honna and I'm a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I grew up in South Jersey and have always loved running around/playing with my three dogs. Currently, I am studying to become a veterinarian. Your dog/dogs will always be with a loving and enthusiastic dog person!
Hello, my name is Ashley and I live in Wayne, PA. I have always had pets and especially love dogs. I have a 2 year old Italian Greyhound who loves to run and lounge in the sun. I have volunteered at Main Line Animal Shelter - walking dogs, spending time with them and giving them baths. I teach yoga and meditation both publicly and privately. I look forward to meeting your dog and giving them some love while you are out!
The city of Linwood, New Jersey was originally named Leedsville. The United States Post Office advised that the name needed to be changed because it was causing problems since there was another city with the same name. In 1880, the town was renamed Linwood, a name which won out over three other options.
There is a great place for you and your furry friend to enjoy a meal together in this quaint city. The La Pizzatega is a dog-friendly restaurant that serves a wide variety of Italian foods. You can share a slice at any of the Fido-friendly outdoor tables. Just looking to get something quick? Take your order to-go!
You'll also find a gorgeous nature trail in Linwood to explore with your four-footed friend, the Pleasantville to Somers Point Bike Path. This 8.2-mile trail is an old rail line that is now part of the Rails-To-Trails program. The trail is paved and meanders through quiet residential neighborhoods of Linwood. There isn't much shade on the trail, and you will want to bring water with you as well as doggy waste bags for cleaning up after Fido. Be sure to bring a leash and your best walking shoes with you when you come to Linwood; you'll need them!
This dog-friendly city is located just 3 miles from Linwood and has the pawfect place for your mutt to play. The Longport Dog Beach is an off-leash beach where dogs can play as much as they like! Just 15 minutes from Linwood, you and your pal can enjoy a pawesome adventure at Brigantine North End Beach! Dogs are allowed on the beach as long as they are on their leash. They are welcome in the Natural Area from September to May. You can park on the street or even drive your truck or SUV onto the sand. Keep in mind you will need to pack the essentials, such as water, doggy waste bags and something for shade since you will be directly in the sun. Oh, and don't fur-get to pack some sunscreen for yourself!
Looking for a good ol' fashioned dog park instead of a dog beach. You'll find one just 5 minutes from Linwood! The Ocean City Dog Park is an off-leash dog park that has a lot of fun things to offer your furry friend. The park is open every day from 8am until dark. You'll need a membership to play here, though. You can pay the weekly visitor fee of $10 or purchase a yearly pass. There are 3 sections in this park: the first is for smaller dogs, the second is for larger dogs and the third is a dog run. The surface of the park is covered in sand and there is plenty of seating and shade available. The park offers waste bags, waste disposal areas and equipment for your pooch to play on. You will need to bring your own water, as none is provided.
Brant Beach is a little over an hour away from Linwood, but the drive is worth it for this pawesome spot! This beach welcomes canine friends as long as they stay on their leash during their visit. Something to keep in mind is that there are certain times of the year when your pooch isn't allowed to play here. Furry friends are welcome from October through March; if you need more information about this policy, contact the city parks department. You will need to bring your own water and supplies for cleaning up. Grab a leash to enjoy a furrific day at the beach!
