This dog-friendly city is located just 3 miles from Linwood and has the pawfect place for your mutt to play. The Longport Dog Beach is an off-leash beach where dogs can play as much as they like! This designated dog area of Malibu Beach is loved by locals! Your best fur-iend will love splashing in the water and playing in the sand here. You will need to bring water and supplies for cleaning up after your canine friend. You may also want to bring an umbrella for shade. Head over for a pawesome day at the beach!

Just 15 minutes from Linwood, you and your pal can enjoy a pawesome adventure at Brigantine North End Beach! Dogs are allowed on the beach as long as they are on their leash. They are welcome in the Natural Area from September to May. You can park on the street or even drive your truck or SUV onto the sand. Keep in mind you will need to pack the essentials, such as water, doggy waste bags and something for shade since you will be directly in the sun. Oh, and don't fur-get to pack some sunscreen for yourself!

Looking for a good ol' fashioned dog park instead of a dog beach. You'll find one just 5 minutes from Linwood! The Ocean City Dog Park is an off-leash dog park that has a lot of fun things to offer your furry friend. The park is open every day from 8am until dark. You'll need a membership to play here, though. You can pay the weekly visitor fee of $10 or purchase a yearly pass. There are 3 sections in this park: the first is for smaller dogs, the second is for larger dogs and the third is a dog run. The surface of the park is covered in sand and there is plenty of seating and shade available. The park offers waste bags, waste disposal areas and equipment for your pooch to play on. You will need to bring your own water, as none is provided.

Brant Beach is a little over an hour away from Linwood, but the drive is worth it for this pawesome spot! This beach welcomes canine friends as long as they stay on their leash during their visit. Something to keep in mind is that there are certain times of the year when your pooch isn't allowed to play here. Furry friends are welcome from October through March; if you need more information about this policy, contact the city parks department. You will need to bring your own water and supplies for cleaning up. Grab a leash to enjoy a furrific day at the beach!

The store asks that you keep your canine pal on a leash during your visit. The staff is super friendly, and your furry friend can even get complimentary treats while visiting. Paw Dazzle sells a variety of pet supplies as well as homemade doggie treats! There is a grassy area outside where your pup can play. You will need to bring water and supplies for cleaning up. Stop by and enjoy a day of shopping while your pooch enjoys some yummy treats!
