But when it comes to the Natural Area, dogs are only permitted from September to May. There is also parking near the beach. The beach is pretty clean and spacious, which makes it the pawfect place to play with your pup. This trail is one of the many trails that the non-profit organization Rails-to-Trails Conservacy created. Previously, it was an unused railroad corridor.     If you're looking for a secure dog park nearby, head down to South Brigantine, where you'll find the Natasha & Nikita Weiss Dog Park on 42nd St & Bayshore Ave. Dogs can play and socialize off-leash at this park, but there is an annual fee that must be paid. It's a one-time application of $25 per year and every dog that wants to enter the park must have it. This fee can be paid in the City Clerk's Office. The park is open all year long from 8 AM to 8 PM. Be sure to bring all the necessary supplies when you visit, including water, waste bags, a leash, and toys.
