Hello! My name is Keith and I have been a dog owner all my life. Growing my best friend was an all white coat German Shepard named "Star" and boy was he a star! Since then I've owned and taken care of many breeds from Dalmatians to Chihuahuas, and especially those lovable mix breeds. Okay, that might not be the best thing to say, but let’s be honest, dogs have such an unrelenting joy and love about them that just makes them so lovable, and I love spending time with them. I’m a dog mom myself, so I know how important it is to make sure that your dog has the best care in the world, and I ensure you that I will give your dog that care!

I'm currently a senior at Rutgers University, majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Research. I have been extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to work with cows, pigs, goats, sheep, and chickens through my program at school. I also volunteer on the weekends at the Happy Homes Animal Shelter with cats, and am a dog walker/cat socializer at the Ocean City Humane Society when I'm at home. I’m so happy to add that I’ve started a job as a veterinary technician at the Warren Township Animal Hospital! I grew up in South Jersey with two Standard Poodles named Mollie and Ellie. I also grown up around Pitbulls, English Springer Spaniels, miniature Poodles, Shitzus, and Boston Terriers. I absolutely love animals, and cannot wait to meet your dogs! I also have experience with hamsters, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, rabbits, snakes, lizards, turtles, and fish. I absolutely love animals, and would love to help you take care of your fur-baby while you're away. I'm also comfortable feeding and checking on cats, or other animals that may need attention while you're out of the house.

Dog Walking in Pomona

Located right next to the Atlantic City International Airport is the small city of Pomona. This city is primarily a residential area, so inhabitants usually venture outside of their city to find things for their pups to do.

If you are a Pomona resident or are looking to become one, don't worry, because there is plenty of stuff to do only a short drive from home! You can take advantage of plenty of small parks around the city, as well as large national forests and nature preserves in the vicinity. You can spend the day relaxing, hiking, fishing, or just basking in the sun's rays. No matter what outdoor destination you choose, you will have a pawtastic time at all the incredible places nearby to take your entire family -- furry family members included!

However, nature is not the only thing you and your pup can enjoy while you're here. You can always spend some time at the casinos in Atlantic City. Another option is heading to the great city of Philadelphia. There is no shortage of restaurants, bars, museums, activities, and parks in the area. Just make sure you check with each venue to see if pooches are allowed. Plus, it never hurts to keep an extra leash, water, and doggie poop bags in your bag at all times.

Even though Mill Pond Trails is located in another city, Port Republic, it is only a nine-minute drive from Pomona. The park also has a kiosk where you can find maps of the various trails you and your pooch can take. Just make sure you keep your pup on a leash at all times and take your own doggie poop bags and water. Trust us -- your pup will have a pawesome time!

Although Gabriel Gardens are technically in another city, Egg Harbor City, the drive from Pomona is only a few minutes. This park is not a dog park, but it has plenty of space for you and your pooch to exercise, walk, and play. It also has a sports field where you will often see children playing baseball. However, it is important to remember this is not a dog park, so you will have to keep your pup leashed at all times. In addition, make sure you take your own doggie poop bags and water, as the park is pretty bare bones. (Pun totally intended.)
