This thirteen-mile trail stretches from Killarney Station outside of Orlando to Lake Minneola in Clermont. Dogs on leashes are permitted to join you on this scenic trail.

Another pawtastic trail that you can hike with Fido is the Lake Apopka Trail. Connect to this asphalt and crushed stone greenway at the Clay Island Trailhead, located about eleven miles north of Ferndale at the end of Carloyn Lane.

This 4,500-acre facility offers a range of activities including camping, fishing, boating, and hiking. This paved, multi-use trail offers spectacular views of the Lake County Region. Hike or jog along the pathway with your four-footed pal. The area includes benches, pet waste stations, water fountains, an observation tower, and more. Dogs are permitted provided they're kept on a leash that's no longer than six feet.

Take your pup to the Clermont Dog Park at Lake Hiawatha Preserve and let him romp and play in this enclosed area with other canine companions. There are separate areas for large and small dogs and water fountains for you and your pooch. You can also leash up and walk the hiking trails through the preserve. Remember to clean up after your pup while in the area.

After you get some exercise, stop by Green Mountain Pizza on 7th Street. Dogs are welcome to lounge by you at one of the outdoor tables while you enjoy a calzone, pasta, or pizza.
