This fenced, off-leash park features three separate areas for small, medium, and large breeds. You'll find this dog park at the Lincoln Avenue Community Park and Pool, which has plenty of activities that the whole family can enjoy -- furry members definitely included! Just don't forget to bring some water and waste bags with you.

Venetian Gardens Pool

Venetian Gardens Pool is a 64-acre public park with pet-friendly walking trails and a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy with family, friends, and fur babies. Located on the west shore of Lake Harris in Leesburg, Florida, the park is one of the access points to Central Florida’s Harris Chain of Lakes. Apart from boating and fishing, you and Fido can enjoy a walk on the sidewalks and trails here, as long as your pup remains safely leashed. There are no drinking water facilities here, so be sure to bring a bottle with you. You and your pooch will have a pawesome time at this park!

Downtown Leesburg

Centered on West Main Street, Leesburg’s downtown area offers a great deal of eateries and shops which you can visit with Fido! Start with Bloom’s Baking House and Restaurant, a quaint bakery and café with a pet-friendly outdoor patio. The menu of casual bites and hot sandwiches will please even the pickiest pooches, but make sure to grab a seat! This place is popular and attracts locals and tourists alike. And if you need to grab some treats or toys for your pup, check out Karen’s Canine Kitchen and Pawtique, a family-owned pet supply store where pooches are welcome to shop! The store has a great choice of goodies, as well as a helpful and friendly staff!

Pear Park

Pear Park is a huge recreation facility situated at the very southern end of Leesburg -- it's impossible to miss on your way out of the city via FL-25. The spacious green area is the perfect place to get back in touch with nature and enjoy some outdoor activities or a quick walk with your pooch. Dogs should stay on their leash in the park and on the trails, but are very welcome to run and play together without one in the dog park! The canine area is divided into several fenced sections with shade and benches in each. Come by to socialize -- there are plenty of friendly locals here every day!

Buena Vista Boulevard South

Buena Vista Boulevard starts at the heart of The Villages, a small community in Sumter County about 30 miles northeast of Astatula. Follow the road south to find an amazing pet-friendly place hidden away from the hustle and bustle of town. Brinson-Perry Dog Park on Bonita Boulevard is a medium-sized dog park with a fence and plenty of room to run and roam! If you're a resident of the Villages, you'll need to present your Villages resident ID card before playing here. Guests may also obtain a guest ID card, and must also present a second form of photo ID to access this park. Children under 13 are not allowed inside the dog park.
