West Des Moines is eighteen miles east of De Soto, but the short drive is worth it, since this city has plenty of activities and places for you and your pup to experience. Raccoon River Dog Park, located at 2500 Grand Avenue, is just one of them. Dogs play hard at this dog park! The main enclosure has the bulk of the twelve acres for off-leash exploration.
