“Pet care in the far western ‘burbs”

The safety of your pet(s) and your home are my first priority. My family has had a pet care service for six years through which we have helped clients housebreak puppies, ensure comfort of older friends, administer medication and provide last minute care for middle-of-the-night emergencies. Our clients are our family. I recognize that not all pets are at the same stage in their lives and I will let your furry friend set the pace. I am looking forward to meeting you both!

Hi, I'm Randy! I've been a dog lover my entire life, having grown up with my black lab, Ebony, who lived a great life of 12 years. In the years since, I've spent a lot of time with my mother's 3 adorable labs, Buster, Moose, and Mojo (who's still my boy from before my parents' split). I'm always the first one she asks to watch them when she's away, and I'm always happy to oblige. I've also taken care of neighbor's dogs in the past, sometimes letting them just stay at my place so they're not lonely. Unfortunately, I'm not in a situation to have a dog myself at the moment, but I will always go out of my way to greet them whenever I can and take joy in making sure they're well cared for.

I have had dogs mys entire life, all were large breeds except one small. I also provided dog care for those in temporary need of shelter and care. I believe a healthy diet and exercise is key for a happy dog. I have taken several dog training courses and know how to keep calm and show no fear around a dog who is barking or asserting dominance. I understand the different behaviors and traits in each breed and deal with each dog appropriately.

I love dogs! I know most profiles say that but I really do. They are loyal, smart, fun loving energetic and also wonderful friends. I treat my pets like members of the family. And I will gladly treat yours like family. I have been around pets my whole life. I also volunteered at WSHS for 4 years, so I have lots of hands-on experience with different breeds of dogs. I currently have a German shepherd-pit mix of my own. I look forward to working with you and your dog.

Dog Walking in Lemont

Centered in Illinois, Lemont is a beautiful town with a large selection of dog-friendly activities to choose from. It’s also conveniently located near larger cities in the state, which makes a doggy day trip all too easy to plan.

While you’re in Lemont proper, however, your dog will thank you if you stop at Central Bark, a relatively small dog park that is fenced off with two distinct sections for large and small dogs. The park is touted by locals and tourists alike as a wonderful place to bring your dog to socialize. With the entire dog area being fenced in, your dog is free to run off-leash and have the time of their lives. Your canine companion will be the star of the show as they make new friends in this busy location. Additionally, outside of the fenced area, there are some wooded trails for you to take your leashed dog walking along, so both of you will get a great workout while enjoying the scenery. This fantastic dog park is just one of many attractions that makes Lemont a must-see location for your and your pup. Just be sure to bring drinking water and puppy’s playthings.
