For canines that love a trip to the park, visit Veterans Park when you are in Macomb! Here there is over 80 acres of land that you can explore, with grassy fields for your pup. There is also 1.7 miles of walking trails that you can enjoy together. In addition, there are some puptastic amenities, including playgrounds, baseball diamonds, restrooms and picnic tables. If you are visiting Macomb and are looking for a pawsome and dog friendly place to stay, be sure to head to Macomb Inn! Here you are welcome to bring a furry friend of any size for only a small additional fee. All of the rooms are dog friendly, have air conditioning and cable television to make you feel at home.

Pups always need their daily exercise, which means you have got to check out Compton Park when you are in Macomb! This is a pawsome open green space in town where your furry friend can have a ball in the fresh air. There is plenty of green grass and space for a game of fetch. There are trees here for some shade, but be sure to bring some fresh water for your panting pup when it is hot and sunny outside. Compton Park is also in this neighborhood, and is surrounded by roads, so it may be best to keep your beloved companion on leash unless they have good recall.

When you are in Macomb, there is no better place to go with your pup than Patton Dog Park! This is a puptastic ½ acre paradise for your pooch since they can exercise and play safely off lead. It is all fenced in and offers space for rolling and roaming, as well as making new furry friends. Dog waste bags are provided at Patton Dog Park in case you furgot your own, but be sure to bring some fresh water. There are two separate play areas inside the park; with one for smaller puppers and another for bigger doggoes.

Just next door to Macomb, you can discover the pawsome and furiendly puptown of Colchester! Here you can bring your pooch to Argyle Lake State Park for some exercise. This is a beautiful place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, and it has over five miles of hiking trails that you can explore with your pup. Wander through the woodlands, which provide plenty of shade in the hot weather for your furry friend. There is the oppawtunity to watch the wildlife that live, and there is a lake that you can fish in too.
