This pawesome neighborhood has a great place for your pooch to play. The Robert L. Nelson Dog Park is an off-leash, fenced in dog park. There is a membership required to visit this park, but it is free! You will just need to call to get your canine friend registered, then you can use the park as much as you like. Your pup will love all the soft grass and open areas to run and play. There is also a separate area for smaller dogs. If your pup likes to get wet, there is a pond to make a splash or just take a dip to cool off. There are plenty of trees for shade, but you will need to bring water for you and your pup. Grab your pup’s favorite ball and get ready for a furrific day at this park!

Millrace
If you and your pooch are up for a nice scenic hike this neighborhood has the trail for you. The Millrace Trail is an old rail line that is now part of Rails-To-Trails. It is 2.75 miles long and it will take you through woods as well as through downtown Goshen where you can view historical buildings and visit different shops. The trail surface is made up of asphalt and crushed stone. You will want to bring water for your journey as well as supplies for cleaning up after your pooch. This neighborhood has a great trail for you and your pooch to hike together. The Pumpkinvine Natural Trail is located in East Goshen and covers 17.6 miles. It is an old rail line that is now part of the Rails-To-Trails program. On this trail, you will see so many beautiful natural sights, so don't forget your camera! There is a small creek and a small bridge that you will see along the way. The surface of the trail is made up of asphalt and crushed stone. You will want to keep in mind that this is a longer hike, so extra water would be ideal. The trees provide shade and there are rest areas along the way.
