Brownsboro Zorn
You and your pooch can drive to the Champions Dog Run at
Lousiville Champions Park in Louisville, Kentucky in less than 15
minutes. It's located in the northern Louisville neighborhood known as
Brownsboro Zorn, and this off-leash park sits on 3.6 acres of land. This
space includes an all dog area and a small dog area, as well as
drinking water and waste disposal supplies. A small membership fee is
required to join this park, and your payment goes toward maintaining the
beautiful space. The entirety of Champions Park sits on 222 acres, and your dog can join you in other areas of the park when they're on a leash.

Cherokee Triangle
The Cherokee Triangle is a historic neighborhood in the heart of Louisville, and it's less than 20 miles from Crestwood. The neighborhood borders Cherokee Park, a 409-acre park with a 2.4-mile scenic trail loop that has a lane for vehicles, as well as a recreational trail. Cherokee Park has sports fields, playgrounds, a water park, picnic shelters, and much more! It also includes a two-acre off-leash dog park. The Cochran Hill Dog Run is divided into an all dog section and a small dog section, and it has water fountains and waste disposal stations. Like all dog parks in Louisville, a membership is required to visit Cochran Hill Dog Park.24

Fern Creek
Southeastern Louisville is 17 miles from central Crestwood, and this area is where you and your pooch will find the Vettiner Dog Run at Charlie Vettiner Park. This park is a 283-acre recreational space with all sorts of features, including sports fields and courts, disc golf, fishing, model airplane flying, and much more. The dog park makes up two acres of this space, and it has one side where dogs of all sizes can interact, as well as a separate area just for small dogs. There are water and waste bags available at the dog park, and it's positioned on a hill so you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding area.12

Woodhaven-Plank Road
The city of Jeffersonville, Indiana is just north of Lousiville, Kentucky. South Jeffersonville is less than 20 miles from Crestwood, and this is where you and your pup will find The Jeffersonville Dog Park at Highland Park. This spacious off-leash park has an area for dogs under 25 pounds, as well as a section for bigger dogs. There are also water fountains for humans and canines, as well as waste disposal supplies and seating. The dog park was built in 2012, and it also includes agility equipment and a walking trail. Be sure to pick up a membership and bring proof of your dog's registration and vaccination.
