Hi! My name is Megan and I’m signing up for wag because of my love for animals. I’ve always had a passion for dogs, especially from raising my own. Spending time outdoors and taking walks has been calming to my daily life and I truly enjoy it. I would love to turn my passion into work by interacting with dogs outside of my home. I’d love to hear from anyone about their needs and their dogs needs and if I am the right fit to be your walker. Thank you!

“Providing the best care for your best friend!”
Being with animals makes me happy! I grew up with dogs and cats and have owned dogs, cats and even horses as an adult. I currently own three small dogs: 10 year old Riley, 4 year old Henry and a puppy named Stella. Previously I worked for 13 years as a teacher’s assistant for elementary kiddos so I have lots of patience! I am also trained and certified in dog first aid. Rest assured that I will treat your pup with love and care!

Hi! I am Danielle and I grew up in Massachusetts with a Black Lab and a Samoyed/Golden Retriever mix. I fell in love with dogs quickly and they have been my partners in crime while hiking, snow shoeing, running, etc. ever since. I am comfortable with dogs large and small and can't wait to meet your pup soon!
I love dogs. I am fairly comfortable with walking both small and large dogs as long as they are fairly well trained and don't pull too much. I know that it is important to make sure that any dog we encounter along the way is friendly before we approach it. I also know that on very hot days it is important to be observant for signs of heat stroke. If I fear the dog is suffering from heat stroke I will take precautions and treat it immediately. Weather permitting and with permission from the owner, I'd love to take the dog to the dog park. However, I will make sure that the dog is trained to come when called before I let them off the leash. I would definitely never put a dog in harm's way. Most importantly, I would do my best to bond with the dog and be someone the dog enjoys being around.
Hi, I'm Ally! I just recently moved to Raleigh in October of 2017. I grew up in Cape Cod, Massachusetts with my three dogs Lilly, Cortez, and Roman! Lilly was a Lab/Boxer mix that we adopted from the MSPCA, Cortez was a Chihuahua that we adopted from a pet store, and Roman is a Golden Retriever that my parents bought to become a therapy dog for myself! Currently, my boyfriend and I own our own dog named Toby, who is a Husky mix that we adopted from the Wake County Animal Center! I began dog sitting when I was younger. Our neighbor Matthew had a Border Collie named Stanley that we watched every time he traveled for his job. It was from as little as three days to the longest of two and a half weeks. I love all animals, dogs especially! I've been vegan for three years due to my love of animals. I plan to go to school to be a Veterinarian Technician in the near future. I would love to use my endless compassion for animals to ensure your pet is treated with the best service; keeping them healthy, entertained, and most importantly, happy! I will treat your pet with care, kindness, and love. I will make sure they will receive the best Wag! experience, keeping them safe and happy!
My name is Wills; I am currently a student at Fordham University, studying Communications and Environmental Science. I have lived with multiple dogs throughout my life; with that, I have been vegan for three years, so a passion for animals (in this case, dogs) is only natural! Respect and care for animals has always been something I highly valued, and I am eager to foster a connection with your dog.
I have been raised around dogs and raised dogs alike. My family has had 4 dogs since I've been alive and each one of them has been a member of my family. The dog's I have owned range in age and size. My current dog is a 6th month old lab chihuaha mix. I do not live at home currently as I am at school, but I still love taking care of dogs and that is why I work for wag.

Hello, my name is Christine and I am an animal lover that has your “family member’s” needs and safety in mind from start to finish! I have a background as a veterinary technician and am very familiar with reading the many different signals an animal can give you while working with them. I am patient, gentle, and caring and would love to meet your dog!
Brewster is a pretty beach town in Massachusetts located along the Cape Cod Bay. Bordering the town you can find the Brewster Flats, a stretch of tidal sand flats along the bay. The accessible beaches and nature in this town make it easy for you and your pup to have an active lifestyle! In case of a dog emergency, Brewster has an animal hospital offering 24 hour emergency services.
Brewster is in the process of building its own dog park, to be located off route 124, adjacent to the Town Cemetery. In the meantime, there are plenty of parks and trails that welcome dogs in this town! One pawpular place for dogs and their walkers is the Cape Cod Rail Trail. This is just one of the many trails supported by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, and it passes right through Brewster. This 22 mile paved pathway is easy on the paws and the eyes, and short side trips lead to some of the many beaches in this area. Leashed dogs are welcome!
It’s not hard to find accommodations for you and your canine companion in this town. If you’d like to enjoy some of the natural beauty in the Cape Cod area, stay a while at the Sweetwater Campground. Dogs are welcome on these beautifully wooded campsites as long as they stay leashed.
Whether you’re a local or you’re just in town for a visit, your pooch doesn’t need to be left out of the fun in Brewster!
The Town Center neighborhood of Brewster is home to many gorgeous areas where you can get some fresh air with your dog. A hidden gem in this area is Wings Island. Here you can find a boardwalk through the salt marshes to access the island, and many short trails in the surrounding area. This is a great place to go with your doggo to enjoy views of the beach and wildlife! To kick back and spend a little more time in nature, check out the Shady Knoll Campground. This campground combines convenience and nature, and welcomes leashed dogs. It’s also central to all of Cape Cod’s favorite attractions! Amenities include modern restrooms, hook up and non-hook up campsites, wifi, laundry facilities, and even a convenience store across the street!
The East Brewster neighborhood is the proud home to the very popular Nickerson State Park. This state park has 1900 acres of beautiful woodlands, and many different ways to enjoy it! They offer more than 400 campsites, and over 8 miles of hiking and biking trails. There are eight fresh water ponds in this state park as well, with easy walking trails encircling them. Your dog is welcome to join you too, of course, but he must remain leashed and is not allowed on the beach areas. Campground amenities include modern restrooms, fire pits with grills, and picnic tables. If you and your dog are craving some delicious local seafood, head to Cobie’s Clam Shack. This restaurant has an outdoor dining area that is dog friendly!
The Sears Point/ Brewster Park neighborhood in Brewster is where you can find the woofderful Breakwater beach! The best part about this beach for dogs owners is that the beach welcomes dogs during the off season! Between October 1st and May 1st, your pup is free to splash and play. You can enjoy the great views, soft white sand and clear water on your stroll with Fido. After all the salt water views and smells, you and your pooch may be craving some clam chowder or a lobster roll. If so, check out the Brewster Inn & Chowder House! It’s located in the same neighborhood, and they have two outdoor dog friendly tables.
Just a short trot across the border into the town of Orleans brings you to the neighborhood of Skaket Beach. This neighborhood’s namesake beach is just directly south of Brewster. The Skaket Beach welcomes dogs during the off-season, which is from October 1st to May 1st. The beach is famous for its gorgeous sunsets, and during low tide, you can walk for about half a mile across the tidal flats. This leaves small tidal pools to play in, and hermit crabs to watch and gently sniff! Even during the off-season, this park is for everyone to enjoy, so please keep your dog leashed and pick up after him.
Just a 20 minute drive from Brewster into the town of West Yarmouth brings you to a fantastic treat for you and your pooch! In the neighborhood of Stage Coach Village, you can find the Yarmouth Dog Park. This dog park allows for some glorious off-leash freedom, and some pawsitive socialization with other furry friends in a safe environment. There are fenced in areas for small and large dogs, with dirt and gravel surfaces. You'll find water fountains and waste bags available for use, but don’t forget your dog’s favorite ball to throw! If you’d like to stay the night in this neighborhood, check out the Yarmouth Resort. They allow up to two pets for an additional fee, but be sure to call ahead and check if pet friendly rooms are available.
