She was absolutely wonderful with my girl!!! I can express how worried I was with my dog being reactive to other dogs, but hearing that she took to her right away made me feel at ease: I ll definitely be booking her for future walks. When an animal feels comfortable immediately around someone, it s a sign someone has a gift with them <3

Taylor Village

Taylor Village

Located about ten miles from Clarksville is Ellicott City’s Worthington Dog Park. This popular bark park sits on nearly three acres, so there’s plenty of room for even the most rambunctious pups to burn off all that excess energy! You’ll need a pass to use this dog park, but a pass for the entire day is only $5. Water is provided by this park during warmer months, but when it gets cold outside, you’ll want to bring your own. You’ll also want to have some waste disposal bags on hand.

If you and your dog love exploring nature, take a hike! Make sure it’s on the Patuxent Branch Trail, though, which has an access point in nearby Columbia. This trail is only six miles from Clarksville, so you won’t have to travel too far. Patuxent Branch Trail is nearly five miles long, so it’s perfect for both beginner hikers and proficient hikers. Fido can join you out on your walk, but make sure he stays on his leash for the duration of the trail; you wouldn’t want him running off! Water and waste disposal bags are not provided.
