The town of Clarksville, Maryland is an unincorporated community located about 30 minutes from College Park. Located in Howard County, Clarksville was founded way back in 1851. Although Clarksville might be unincorporated, don’t be fooled; the town has quite the reputation.

In Clarksville, you’ll find some of the most expensive homes on the entire East Coast. The school district that residents of Clarksville use is consistently ranked as one of the best in the nation. Not too bad for an “unincorporated” community, huh?

While Clarksville may be great for the people who live there, it’s not the most dog-friendly town. The town does have three veterinarian practices, so if your pooch gets sick or just needs a routine checkup, quality vet care is never too far away. There’s also one dog-friendly restaurant, River Hill Sports Grille. However, there are no dog parks in the town. Fear not, though! There are several different opportunities for you and your pooch located just a short drive away.

If you’re willing to travel a bit, Clarksville is a great place for humans and dogs alike! Swing by for a visit today.

"Julian is an awesome dog walker. Her descriptions of the activities are very detailed and funny. I like that she sometimes stays a little extra to play with Brutus and takes him on long walks. It seems like Brutus gets along with her really well. I would recommend Julian to other clients too."
