North Hanover
North Hanover is the northwest corner of Hanover. This neighborhood is a pupperific place to live if you would rather live a few minutes away from the highway. The homes here are mostly single-family houses with fenced-in yards. Your dog can enjoy a pleasant afternoon walk in North Hanover with plenty of trees with entertaining small animals for their amusement. Deep Run is a stream that flows along the east side of the city. You will find plenty of off-road parking along the stream so that you can enjoy a stroll with your pup in or around the water.

Harwood Park
Harwood Park is just to the west of North Hanover. This neighborhood is just minutes from Troy Park, a family-friendly park with lots of room to run and play with your dogs. Dogs must be on leash, but that doesn’t mean you will have any less fun while you are here! Urban Bar-B-Que is just a few minutes away from Harwood Park and makes a great outdoor dinner spot for you and your pup to stuff your faces together. If you are taking your dog for a walk through Harwood Park, just make sure you have your waste bags with you for the ride.

Stoney Run
Stoney Run is just a few minutes to the east of North Hanover. This small residential neighborhood is a fun and beautiful place to call home for dog owners. If you want a place with proximity to shops and style, Stoney Run is the pawfect location. Your dog will be all wags and sniffs every time you get out the leash for a morning or afternoon walk that she won’t even notice that she has to stay on leash! Just keep waste bags in your pocket while you take your pup through the manicured greenery that surrounds the homes here. Your dog’s buddies will thank you for it.

Dorsey Ridge
Dorsey Ridge is a neighborhood in the southern part of Hanover. This neighborhood is just minutes from Arundel Mills, which is home to many shops and restaurants that your family will just adore while you are nearby. You can also just enjoy an afternoon walk with your dog on leash through the residential streets here. There is plenty of green grass for pup's paws and beautiful shrubbery for your admiration. Just don’t forget your waste bags and you will be good as gold in this prime neighborhood. A five-minute drive will get you to the highway if you are off for a weekend adventure with your dog.
Arundel Mills
Arundel Mills covers the southern tip of Hanover. There are many restaurants here that your dog will bark in approval for. The Greene Turtle, TGI Friday’s, Golden Corral, and Chipotle (all three of their locations, they are just that pupperific!) are all within minutes of one another, and they all offer dog-friendly outdoor seating for your convenience. If you are visiting Arundel Mills for a lunch date with Sparky, just make sure you have clean-up bags with you. While most restaurants will quickly offer you drinking water for your furry friend, you may want to pack water and a pop-up water bowl just in case, especially if traveling on a hot day.
