Baltimore Highlands Central
Baltimore Highlands Central is home to Hillcrest Park, a well-known green space found just minutes from Downtown. If you need a place with plenty of room to run around, you will love this simply but well-kept park. It is the pawfect spot to through around a Frisbee or a tennis ball. You can also throw down a picnic blanket and have lunch or read a book with your pup rolling around next to you. Just make sure you clean up after your pet before you leave to head onto the rest of your day’s adventures. You will also want to keep some treats in your pocket to coax your little one to leave after such a fun day!36

Lansdowne
Lansdowne is just minutes to the west of Baltimore Highlands. It is another popular commuter neighborhood with plenty of green spaces in between the housing developments and apartment homes. There are also several green parks and creeks that you will encounter during your walks through this area. The neighborhood is largely residential and close to several major highways, so there is a lot of traffic throughout the day. This makes a good leash a necessity while walking your dog in Lansdowne. You will find plenty of grass to keep your dog’s nose occupied while you take in the sights and fresh air.24

Cherry Hill Park
Cherry Hill Park is a residential neighborhood with a stunning view of the harbor. It has its own namesake park right in the middle of the town, and there are plenty of hills and rolling areas full of soft grass that is simply pawfect for a walk or a jog with Fido. Lakeland is a small residential area with plenty of apartment homes and townhome communities. There is plenty of room for dog walking in this scenic neighborhood close to many schools and public green spaces. You will need to keep your dog on-leash in Lakeland and be prepared to make many bark buddies on your travels through the neighborhood. You will need your waste bags, and you will probably want to bring a blanket in case you want to relax in the grass for a little while before heading back home with your tuckered out pup. Brooklyn Park is a neighborhood just southeast of Baltimore Highlands. It is right on the other side of the Patapsco River and has plenty of well-watered grass that is pupperific for rolling and playing in with some tennis balls or a Frisbee. You will find plenty of paths to explore with your dog in Brooklyn Park, a furrific green space that's just perfect for walkies. Many apartments in this neighborhood have breed restrictions, so you will want to be aware of those regulations if you are planning on moving into the area with your canine companion. Just make sure you keep your pup on-leash while out and about and be ready to make plenty of new friends.
