Sparky will love going for a walk or a game of fetch in the grass that surrounds Cabin Branch, a small but popular river with nature lovers who live in the area. Andover Park is just minutes outside of Ferndale and is the pawfect spot for a weekend adventure. Arundel Hills Park is just to the north of Ferndale, right outside the city boundaries. This park is an amazing location for a picnic or a stress-relieving walk.

West Dale Park

West Dale Park

West Dale Park is just south of Ferndale. This quiet residential neighborhood has plenty of places to take a dog for a long walk. From scenic railroad tracks to calm sidewalks with beautiful trees on either side of the street, you will find plenty of excuses to take your time while walking your favorite canine. Just make sure you have a comfortable leash or a harness for longer walks. You will also want to make sure your dog is on her best behavior when the time comes to share the sidewalk with other pups. Their outdoor tables are placed in the middle of a miniature garden, and the food is simply delicious, so don’t worry about whether you will find something amazing on the menu!
