Gambrills is a rural-turned-suburban town in the heart of Odenton in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. This little town is situated just minutes from the tip of the Severn River. You will find pooches at the river in droves with their humans during the spring and summer catching some splashes with the people fishing or relaxing on the river bank. You will also find the Severn Run Natural Environment Area is the pawfect place for you to explore with your dog, and it's less than twenty minutes north of Gambrills. This area is complete with remote hiking trails and fishing spots to meet you and your pup's every desire on a sunny weekend afternoon.
You will need to keep your dog safely on-leash and close to you while making your way around Gambrills and the rest of Anne Arundel County. Micro-chipping is encouraged, though not required, for dogs that will be spending a lot of time outside with their humans. You will also need to keep your dog's rabies vaccination current and proof of it with you either on your dog's collar or in your wallet. There are no animal hospitals inside of Gambrills, but there are several of them in the surrounding towns in any direction.
