Dog Areas in Sparrows Point

Sparrows Point is a community that rests in between Dundalk and Edgemere in Maryland. Right on the harbor front, this town is a great place to experience life by the water. Full of single family homes and rental properties to fit any budget, Sparrows Point has a diverse population of residents with a  growing number of young people and families with young children. Dogs are welcome and are frequently sighted walking with their pup-parents throughout the day in this enchanting community. Your dog will enjoy being just minutes from the water, no matter which neighborhood you choose to explore. The town was founded as a waterside marina, with hundreds of docks to accommodate the countless boats owned by residents and visitors.

If your dog likes the water, you may consider taking your adventurous pup out for a day on a boat. You can, of course, buy a boat, but there are many boat rentals available as well for those who only occasionally explore the water. Bear Creek is found to the north edge of the harbor, followed by Sollers Point as you approach the opening of the Chesapeake Bay. Regardless of which part of the water you choose to explore, you are in for a tail-wagging treat!
