Sparrows Point is a community that rests in between Dundalk and Edgemere in Maryland. Right on the harbor front, this town is a great place to experience life by the water. Your dog will need to stay on leash here if not in your fenced-in yard, as the area experiences high traffic throughout. You will also need to keep waste bags in your pocket to help keep the area sparkling as bright as the bay.
East Sparrows Point borders on Edgemere, another waterside town on the opposite side of the Key Bridge. Your dog will enjoy the quaint and quiet neighborhoods here that all include green grass and plenty of trees full of small birds and squirrels to entertain your pup all afternoon. You can pack your leash, water bottles, clean-up bags, and a blanket for a full afternoon relaxing in the grass that surrounds the homes here. It’s the pawfect place for a picnic, if you want to spend an afternoon enjoying the great outdoors. You can also opt for a quick stroll through the neighborhood streets as well.
South Sparrows Point is simply wagtastic for dog owners. The many shipyards and marinas make for an interesting way to spend an afternoon with your dog. Your dog can join you for a walk through the residential streets where you can take in all of the sights and smells of town. You can also bring your dog down to the docks while you admire the many boats and ships there.
