These parks and nearby trails give ample space to get some exercise with your canine companion. There’s also an animal hospital right in town, making pet care a breeze!

One of the parks along the Saco River is Mechanics Park, located just off of Main Street. Leashed dogs are welcome, just don’t forget the waste bags and dog treats for your good boy or girl!

When you’re looking for a place to crash, head over to the Homestead by the River Family Campground. This campground is located along the Saco River and provides opportunities for all kinds of water activities! Dogs are welcome, but must stay leashed when not inside your vehicle or tent.
