Kennebunkport is a charming coastal town in York County. Originally incorporated in 1663, this small town used to be known for ship building. Today, it is a pup-ular tourist spot and fishing village. Local dogs get to enjoy the pawsome seaside atmosphere. They also have access to a top notch veterinary clinic right in town.

Treat your dog to a night out on the town. Grab a bite to eat at one of Kennebunkport’s pet friendly restaurants. Salt and Honey prides itself on using fresh, local ingredients. Choose from favorites like Southern Fried Chicken, Fish and Chips, or Homestyle Meatloaf. Your pup can dine at your side at one of the outdoor patio tables. He’ll even get his own water dish. On the Edge specializes in brunch. The menu is overflowing with scrumptious choices. Your furry friend can join you at an outside table. She’ll even get a water bowl and treat.

If you and your four legged BFF are just visiting Kennebunkport, make a reservation at The Edgewater Inn. Pups under 50 pounds are welcome to bunk here for the night for a small additional fee. Captain Jefferds Inn is another dog friendly option. With beautiful décor and cozy rooms, your pal will feel right at home.
