Proud animal lover and dog mom of two chihuahuas! I’ve walked all kinds of dogs with the Humane Society for two years, and I’ve taken two dog training and intelligence courses. I’m currently studying in Connecticut, but I am staying in my hometown- where I’ve grown up for most of my life- for the summer. I’ve just started working with Wag! but I am committed to providing the best possible service!

Hey, I'm Brittany! I'm a pharmacist with a rotating schedule and will LOVE using my days off during the week to spend time with dogs and ensuring a great walk experience for them while you're at work! I have grown up with a dog my whole life until college when I moved out. I don't have a dog of my own yet but have spent plenty of weekends dog sitting for friends over the years. If you want to get your pup out of the house but are not around, I'm your gal!

My animal care experience began in 2019 when I started volunteering weekly at a local animal shelter. I have walked a wide variety of dogs: small and large, high-energy and low-energy, well behaved and behaviorally-challenged, etc. When I spend time with a dog, my goal is to let the dog be a dog. If the dog is accepting, I will give it pets and belly rubs. I will play with the dog and let it explore all the amazing scents of the outdoors. And, of course, I will pick up any dog poop.

“I Grew up with 2 dogs and love being around them!”
Hey my name is Henry and I’ve been living with dogs my whole life . I grew up with 2 cairn terriers so I’ve always been a custom to how dogs need to be treated and how to properly care for them. I personally love being around dogs so this is more of a hobby than a job , although I do need to pay the bills. I would love to get to know you and you’re pet! I have a very open schedule so I can do short or long term agreements based on whatever your needs are, all questions are welcome . Thank you !

Hello there! My name is Abbey Rose and I'm a PA student in Boston with lots of experience sitting, walking, and owning dogs! I was raised along with George the Golden Retriever, and learned to love playing, walking, teaching, and wrestling with dogs at an early age. After George passed away, I kept dogs in my life by being the designated dog-sitter for all family and friends. Last year, I started working for Sandy Paws Dog Walking and Pet Sitting company in CT and learned more about professional walking, and especially enjoyed being taught by Bryony, the owner of the company, about canine behavior, training, and dog walking ettiquette. Now I've moved to Boston and am ready to put my skills to work with your pups!

South Berwick is nestled in York County. Originally settled in 1631, it was once the home to one of the first water powered sawmills in America. Today, it is a charming village with several historic buildings. Since it’s located right on the banks of the Salmon Falls River, local pups get to enjoy beautiful scenery. This small dog loving town also has four veterinary clinics, so pups know they are always in good hands.
You can’t visit South Berwick without spending some time
at the Vaughan Woods State Park. Treat your four legged friend to an afternoon in this
pawsome 165 acre park. Set alongside the Salmon Falls River, this spectacular
slice of nature has a variety of trails that wind through pines and hemlocks.
The Bridle Path meanders over rolling hills, while the Bridle Path Loop drops
into a valley and heads towards the river. The Scenic River Run continues
through the valleys and near streams. It’s common to see horseback riders on
the trails, so be sure to keep your pup on leash. During the summer season,
drinking water is available at the Park’s entrance. Remember to keep your four
legged hiking buddy well hydrated. A visit to this park will have your pooch wagging her tail with delight!
Satisy your pup's need for adventure in charming South Berwick today!
Looking for a new place to walk your pooch? Grab some snacks, water, and a leash, and check out Orris Falls Conservation Area. Not only will your dog get some great exercise, he’ll also get to see some pretty pawsome terrain. Once home to volcanic activity, the area is now a combination of lush wetlands and vernal pools. Trails range from .7 miles to 1.8 miles. Don’t miss out on the side excursions. Follow the short side trails to Lachance Point, the Big Bump, and Balancing Rock, a glacial erratic boulder. Several kinds of critters call this place home, so watch for beaver, turtles, and ducks.
When South Berwick dogs need to let loose, they head over to Berwick Bark Park. Located in the neighboring community of Berwick, the park is just minutes away from South Berwick. The park is privately owned by a couple of dog loving folks, but it is open to the public from May to October. Your furry friend will tire herself out as she romps and wrestles with new friends. A separate area for petit pooches is available, as well as benches for pet parents. Mature trees give the pups some shade and keeps them cool during the dog days of summer. Sounds pupperific!
If your pup is an ocean lover, head over to Long Sands Beach. This beautiful white sand beach is located in York and is only a 25 minute drive from South Berwick. Since this beach is a pup-ular tourist destination from May until September, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. during these months. However, your pal is welcome to splash in the waves in the early summer mornings and evenings, as well as anytime of day in the off season. The beach stretches for a mile, so it’s a great place to take your pup for a walk or jog.
The Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region is located 30 minutes southeast of South Berwick in York. The beautiful coastal mountain is surrounded by wetlands, steep terrain, and a wide variety of trees and shrubbery. If your pooch likes adventure, he’ll feel right at home in these hills. The area has several trails that range in length. Your furry hiking buddy will definitely get a leg workout on trails like Blueberry Bluff, Sweet Fern, and Vulture’s View. Since most of the trails are multiuse, chances are you’ll run into some mountain bikers, so be sure to keep your pup on leash at all times.
Leash up your pup and venture off the beaten path with a trip to Wiggly Bridge in York. Just a 20 minute drive from South Berwick, this charming bridge is dubbed the “World’s Smallest Suspension Bridge.” It connects a walkway with Steedman Woods, a small forest on the tip of a peninsula. When you reach Steedman Woods, guide your pup around the path for some pawsome views of the York River and Barrells Millpond. She’ll love exploring this little patch of woods. Once you return from the woods, continue your walk along the York River. You’ll pass plenty of boats as you make your way towards the harbor.
