My animal care experience began in 2019 when I started volunteering weekly at a local animal shelter. I have walked a wide variety of dogs: small and large, high-energy and low-energy, well behaved and behaviorally-challenged, etc. When I spend time with a dog, my goal is to let the dog be a dog. If the dog is accepting, I will give it pets and belly rubs. I will play with the dog and let it explore all the amazing scents of the outdoors. And, of course, I will pick up any dog poop.

“I Grew up with 2 dogs and love being around them!”
Hey my name is Henry and I’ve been living with dogs my whole life . I grew up with 2 cairn terriers so I’ve always been a custom to how dogs need to be treated and how to properly care for them. I personally love being around dogs so this is more of a hobby than a job , although I do need to pay the bills. I would love to get to know you and you’re pet! I have a very open schedule so I can do short or long term agreements based on whatever your needs are, all questions are welcome . Thank you !

This colorful, historic city, nestled between the mountains and the ocean, offers an outstanding number of attractions and is happy to welcome you during your stay in New Hampshire. Dover has an undeniable allure, with many op-paw-tunities for those who live there and for those who visit. It has something to offer everyone! Here, you'll find lots of dog-friendly stores, cafes, and a general friendly attitude toward four-legged visitors on their leashes. If your pal needs some medical help, you'll find a veterinary hospital right in the heart of town, so you can rest easy knowing your pooch is in good hands!
Dover has a charming downtown area with a number of dog-friendly eateries, but if your mutt needs some off-leash fun, head over to The Longhill Dog Park, located a short ride to the north of the city center within the Longhill Memorial Park. The park has strict, but simple, rules for visitors and a large grassy area to play off-leash.
A pleasant surprise for your brave explorer will be Dover Community Trail, located within the city and providing an amazing outdoor experience, with 3 miles of flat, well-maintained trail and breathtaking views of Cochero River.
If you decide to stay for a few days in Dover, you will find at least four dog-friendly options available in the area. One is Days Inn Downtown Dower, which welcomes up to two pooches of any size for an additional fee per animal.
The northeastern part of Lee is a charming, scenic town surrounded by quiet roads and streets and bordered by Oyster River to the north. If you're looking for a fun, off-leash experience that transcends your average dog park, you're in the right place! DeMerritt Hill Farm is a fancy dog-friendly attraction and an amazing place to have some fun with Fido. Apart from hiking trails, two play areas, a farm store and bakery, the farm welcomes you to pick some apples blueberries, and peaches! Keep your mutt on their leash at all times, grab a basket, and get pickin'!
The northern part of Lee is home to some great amenities, including eateries and small shops to grab a bite on the go when traveling to Concord or Manchester. But you'll also find a pawesome pet-friendly location here! Friendly Pets is a special store offering more than just a choice of food and toys for your pooch. The place has a special dog park adjacent to the area, where you are welcome to play and exercise with your mutt! Don't worry; if you're looking to socialize here, you're not alone! Many dog owners in the surrounding areas bring their pooches to play and make some new fur-iends. Friendly Pets also offers places to wash off your dog so he doesn't get sand all over your car seats.
Downtown Portsmouth is buzzing with visitors traveling throughout the area seeking new places, adventures, and opportunities. Like any coastal city in the northern part of the country, Portsmouth will welcome you with windy weather and a moderate climate. Just a skip and a hop from downtown, you'll find a huge recreation spot for your mutt to play off-leash: Portsmouth Dog Park. The park is one of the green areas located on South Mill Pond and has a convenient path to the water. You are welcome to choose from a fenced off-leash area, an unfenced off-leash area, or explore both! After working up an appetite, head back to downtown for some grub. On Hanover and Daniel streets, you'll find several eateries that welcome leashed pooches at dog-friendly tables or patios. Some offer a free bowl of water!
Following Merrimack River from downtown Concord to the southern part of town, you'll find some nice recreation opportunities, a few eateries, convenience stores, and quiet neighborhoods. West Terrill Park is a great place for you and your pal to spend a day off or a sunny weekend. Conveniently located on the banks of the river, the park has access to the water and a special, fenced area for pooches to play off-leash. Featuring two separate sections for small and large breeds, the terrain is mostly covered in dirt mixed with grass, making it muddy when it rains. Be a smart dog owner and take some towels and water with you!
The town of Hooksett is entirely located on the Merrimack River, and its northern part is closely connected to Merrimack River Reservoir. This neighborhood isn't exactly among the top tourist destinations in New Hampshire, but it's home to Hooksett Dog Park and the Riverwalk Trail, which makes it a pawesome place for dog owners to visit! The park is simple, with two separate areas for pooches to play and romp off-leash, but is very busy during the weekends! If you want to let your pooch swim and cool off, there is a special area past the park with a boat ramp to enjoy the water and splash. Drinking water isn't provided here, so remember to bring your own water and bowl with you.
