Courtney was great! My dog has separation anxiety & is usually freaking out when I get home after being gone all day. But this time, she was calm and happy. She clearly loved Courtney!

Sheana came through when I was in a pinch. I needed someone to let the dogs out because I was stuck in traffic in the mountains. She responded last minute and had excellent communication. She’s the best!

It was our first time leaving Skittles with a sitter, and Daniel did a great job of assuaging our fears! He was super communicative and made sure we knew that Skittles was in good hands. Highly recommend!

Kelli was awesome boarding my two dogs. Not only did she give daily updates with videos and pictures she also worked with them on introducing them to her cat and getting used to her big dogs. Can't recommend enough!

Southwest Flint

Southwest Flint

Southwest Flint offers a variety of doggy distractions without a trek through downtown, especially the beautiful cluster of parks alongside Swartz Creek — a mere 23 miles from Corunna. There’s creek access for summer splashing near the entrance to the Swartz Creek Valley public golf course, and the adjacent Kellar Park has a grassy lawn just begging for a game of fetch. Or, cross the street to Broome Park and follow the walking trail through the trees and over to the ball fields of Lincoln Park. If you need a boost after all that play, both the Starbucks just west of the golf course and the Biggby Coffee a few blocks farther offer pup-cup delights and outside seating.

Best of all are Burroughs Park and adjacent Woodlawn Park, with plenty of trees to mark and green lawns to lounge on. If you’re feeling ambitious, catch the Applewood Trail in Burroughs Park and follow it all the way to Kearsley Park and the Flint River. On your way back to Corunna, stop at the 501 Bar and Grill on Saginaw St. for a meal at one of the 20 outdoor tables: the Art Deco décor and eclectic menu are nothing to sniff at.

There are 2 dog-friendly hotels and 7 dog-friendly restaurants surrounding the outlets, so feel free to stretch out your trip.
