Lake Fenton is a picturesque residential neighborhood with lots to offer its furry residents and visitors. One of the most popular places to go with dogs in this neighborhood is Thompson Road Regional Dog Park. This community dog park includes separate areas for large and small dogs to play in. Both areas feature big, fenced fields with safety gates. Toys and doggy bags are also available in the park, but be sure to bring water with you. This dog park only just opened in late 2017, and it's already pawpular with residents and visitors! Your dog will love running, playing, and making new friends in this dog park!

Marl and Silver Lake
Marl and Silver Lake is home to Silver Lake Park, a great place to take your dog for an on-leash walk. This 35-acre park has beautiful nature trails you can explore with your dog. These trails go around Silver Lake, providing amazing views for your walk. Bring doggy bags and water for your pup, and have a fun day out at this park. If you want to get a bite to eat with your dog after the park, there are a few good options nearby, most of which are pawpular chain eateries. Whether you just want a smoothie and a snack or a heartier meal, Marl and Silver Lake has got you and Fido covered!

Seven Lakes
If you’re looking for a pawsitively amazing place to hike with your dog, try Seven Lakes State Park. Located four miles from Fenton, this park allows dogs on-leash everywhere but its buildings and swimming areas. Seven Lakes State Park has five trails you can explore with your dog, including the scenic 0.7-mile Nature Trail Loop. This trail goes through the forest and around Spring Lake and Sand Lake. If you’re looking for a longer hike, try the 2.1-mile Green Trail Loop. This trail takes you past beautiful Dickinson Lake. No matter which trail you choose, you and your dog are sure to have fun here!

Westminster Circle
Westminster Circle is home to Grand Blanc Dog Park, an off-leash area your dog is sure to love. This dog park is 9.5 miles from Fenton, and it features separate areas for large and small dogs. The park also has agility equipment for your dog, including ramps and tunnels. To use the park, you’ll have to purchase a membership pass from the Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation Department. After you do that, you can visit the dog park anytime you’d like! If you want to get a bite to eat with your dog after they’re finished playing, head to Roly Poly Rolled Sandwiches. Sit at one of their dog-friendly outdoor tables, and enjoy a wide variety of hot-pressed and cold wraps.
Chilson Road
When you’re in this Howell neighborhood, you won’t want to miss the beautiful Brighton Recreation Area. This recreation area is 26 miles from Fenton and offers more than 4,000 acres and 39 miles of snifftastic trails to explore with your pooch! If you want to go on a long trek through the woods, try the five-mile Penosha Trail or the two-mile Kachin Hiking Trail. Or, if you’d rather go on a shorter hike around scenic Bishop Lake, check out the mile-long Bishop Lake Hiking Trail. No matter which trail you choose, you and your dog are sure to have fun here!
